I am a mom to 17 year old triplets. My husband and I are pretty outdoorsy and love to travel. For the most part we don’t like to stay in hotels, but prefer to stay in short term rentals - they offer more of a “Home Away From Home” experience. When we stay in a rental we leave it in the condition we found it and expect our guests to do the same. The cabin we host is in an area we consider our “Happy Place” with views, lake access, trails nearby to hike and mountain bike and short drives to Lake Champlain, Vermont, Lake Placid and Gore Mountain.
We had such a great week! We stayed here in the Winter the first time and it was beautiful then and even more beautiful in the Fall!! The foliage was spectacular! We had great weather- even got in the lake! So enjoyed the hot tub at night. The camp has everything and we lacked nothing. So nice having a washer and dryer. Beds are very comfy! Owner very accommodating and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Would highly recommend staying here! We already booked for the Fall of 2024!

This was the perfect get away. The view from the dock alone was breathtaking.
Super easy to find, it looks even better than the pictures. Such a cozy, welcoming cabin. Did not disappoint. The book with what to do near there was super helpful. 10/10 would recommend coming here.

The cabin was wonderful! We stayed for a weekend to visit the Vermont Maple Festival and the maple supply dealer open houses. The area is absolutely beautiful around the cabin and on the trip into Vermont as well. The lake was peaceful and very pretty, I hoped to take the canoe on the lake but the weather and time did not cooperate with us, maybe next time. Also, I did not want to leave the hot tub! Would definitely stay again.

We rented Robin's cabin this weekend for our annual anniversary getaway. I love everything, and we can't wait to bring our kids up here another time ! The easily accessible Lake Augur was a blessing. What a peaceful time we had using the provided Kayak. If it wasn't raining this morning before checkout, we were super ready to wake up early and go back out, lol. However, the coziness of the space ....I don't even care that it rained ! the landline phone I'd like to mention is super important and convenient, as we had to keep in touch with our children and their Aunt and Uncle. wifi spot on. no issues. So much fun so close! Highly recommend Ausable Chasm adventures. Even off season, we enjoyed miles of mountain biking (AWESOME TRAILS) HIKING just to return back to the cabin for a few hours of kayaking. Talking to locals and very friendly neighbor Scott made us realize we will just have to come back to do more. #1 air b&b so far that I absolutely want to return to.

Camp Pocomoonshine was picturesque! It was a cold week but the house (and the hot tub!) was warm and cozy and so inviting. It was quiet and relaxing and felt like we were alone for miles around us. The views of the lake were great and we watched a doe and her fawn eat some pumpkins 10 feet from the front door while we had oir coffee! So many amenities a short drive away, Pocomoonshine ranger trail was a nice afternoon hike, being able to snowboard at Whiteface in November was a pleasant surprise. In Peru about 15 minutes away, Livingood was awesome for a casual quiet meal and Pasquale's was a great place to watch some world cup soccer and eat some quality pub fair. Camp Pocomoonshine is an absolute gem, we had everything we needed from the start, we will definitely be back!

The most perfect cabin with all the extra touches across from a beautiful lake! The cabin is incredibly clean, stocked with all your kitchen bathroom bedroom and living room needs. Fun games and puzzles and even comfy robes to wear on your way to the hot tub! The location is great, off the beaten path but has a little down town area and is close to other towns that have a little more going on! Lots of great outdoor fun things to do and see. I would stay there again in a heart beat especially during the summer to utilize the kayaks on the lake!

My husband and I and our dogs had a lovely stay at Camp Pocomoonshine! It made a great “home base” for local exploring, and relaxing in the hot tub after a day of hiking and adventuring was delightful. I’m sure it would also make a great place for simply unwinding and relaxing.
The cabin itself is the ideal mix of rustic cozy, but with all the modern comforts you could want. It’s so charming! The furniture is comfortable, the cabin is well stocked with supplies, and the lake views and access make it extra special.
There are neighbors around, but not too close by so you have semi-privacy. The hot tub is tucked in near the garage and not on display for the neighborhood, which is much appreciated. The lake access takes you right down to the shore just across the lane, and would be an ideal place to swim in the warm weather, or launch a canoe, kayak, or SUP (all three are provided at Camp Pocomoonshine, but we didn’t get the chance to test them out on this trip).
We grilled out back, and cooked in the kitchen and both were very convenient. Plenty of supplies were provided.
If you are looking for a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle that really makes it feel like you’re escaping to a cabin in the mountains without really giving up any modern comforts, this is the place for you. We stayed for five nights and wish we could have stayed even longer!!
Robin is a delight to work with, and easy to reach but doesn’t bug you. We are so grateful!
We certainly hope to visit Camp Pocomoonshine again.

This cabin is incredible. Such a dreamy, cozy, rustic retreat with everything you need. We loved all the cute details like the record player, comfy chairs, old-school furnishings, lovely front porch and more. The lake view is very peaceful. Robin is a great communicator. The large and spacious hot tub is obviously a huge plus. It was perfect for our little honeymoon and beautiful for anyone seeking to get away from it all for awhile!
