The Adirondack camp rental is surrounded by whispering tall red pines overlooking spring fed Lake Brantingham. There are three bedrooms (two with double beds and one with bunk beds), washer, dryer and a two piece bathroom upstairs. On the main level there is a full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen (stove top gas and no oven) and an open concept dining room/living room with a fireplace.
On the lakeside there is a fully screened in porch overlooking picturesque Lake Brantingham, NY. Steps lead down to the boathouse where there is a sun drenched deck with a panoramic view of the lake. On the deck there are built in benches and patio furniture. Here you can enjoy the sun from 10am until it sets. Dinners on the lakefront deck overlooking the lake are spectacular and memorable. Two steps from the side deck lead to clear, clean and sparkling water where you can swim and fish. During the late evening star gazing is a must from the upper deck.
Our Brantingham camp is located at the end of Cottage Road where is is quiet with less traffic and neighbors are friendly. A canoe, rowboat and life jackets are included.

Why Linda & Don Higgins chose Brantingham When we purchased this property it had a rickety platform, called a dock. Over a couple of years and many, many hours of going through the right channels we had a boat house built.
One major problem (challenge) we faced was that we were only allowed a 5 foot dock to put chairs and get some sun. After much thinking, we decided to put the deck on the roof. We were the first boat house on the lake with a sun drenched sun deck and even today when we eat supper on the 'deck' the boats trolling by give us a thumbs up or a 'toot' with the boat horn. Before owning this property, we had traveled to Brantingham for many years before our family came along. We had helped our friends restore and work on Dark Island, the large island in the middle of Brantingham . They called it 'camp', we called it luxury! Our children spent many a wonderful summer at the Lake and still to this day stay in touch with many of their friends, who are now all married with children of their own.
When you arrive at the Lake something tells you, this is 'home'.
We found the place to be beautiful. And the owners were so gracious as we had some scheduling problems on our end. We recommend the fine Brantingham Lake location highly.

My family had a wonderful time, spending most of it soaking up the sun on the boat house deck. The cottage offered everything we needed, which really only meant a place to lay our heads at night. We took advantage of everything the outdoors had to offer. In the evenings after the sun went down, we loved to sit on the screened in porch enjoying the quiet night life and time together as a family. The lake was fabulous, perfect for swimming and kayaking. We were even luckily enough to see a sea plane land and take off on the lake! The beautiful sunsets may have been the best part and being able to enjoy them from the boat house deck was amazing! All around this was a top ten vacation and we hope to be back someday!

We enjoyed a beautiful August week at the cottage! It has just what you need and much more. We loved mid-morning kayaking, all day swimming, fishing from the dock or the canoe in turtle bay and soaking up the sun all afternoon on the boathouse deck! Amazing views, sunsets & boat watching! Friendly community with nightly trips to the general store for ice cream. The screen porch was fabulous for listening to the loons in the evening and occasional meals not spent on the deck. The owners were wonderful and easy to reach with any questions. Would highly recommend this perfect spot on Brantingham Lake. Truly great for family time!

Sparkling waters is really sparkling from the water to the Cottage, the dining room table was big for all eight of us for dinner and card playing, remembering our lives when we were little at Linkill lake too. The Cottage was clean and updated with two new toilets and everything we needed, the Higgins did call us to make sure everything was OK and yes very nice that they care too.

Great place on the lake with everything you need. My wife and I rented this property for the week after Labor Day weekend and couldn't have been more pleased. The owners made sure we had everything we needed. We caught the last night of the drive-in, a triple feature, and then spent the week listening to the loons, coyotes, and geese. The weather was a bit changeable so we didn't get to spend as much time on the lake as we wanted but it was still a perfect experience.
