Description
Stay just outside the village of North Creek, in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. Our secluded home sits on 10 acres of private land. Rates vary throughout the year.

Things we like to do in the area Revolution Rail, Rafting, Ziplining, Gondola rides at Gore and visiting Lake George.
Please remember you are staying in our home not a hotel. Please treat the house with respect. If any problems arise we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7. Cell phone coverage can be unpredictable at times, but AT&T does have coverage at the house, and actually gets great LTE data service as well. Coverage in town is available for AT&T now but may not be for others, so plan accordingly if you were hoping to call back to the house because you forgot what you needed at the store. Wi-Fi is available for use with high-speed fiber connectivity (50 down/50 up).
Our property is on a town maintained dirt road and our driveway is a mix of dirt and stone. While we the town makes every effort to keep it plowed sudden snow is common and can quickly cover the road, making them slippery. We also work to keep the driveway cleared but can be limited in larger snowfalls as it may require a front-loader which can't zip around town.
At least one four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended in the winter or a very experienced winter driver. Booking Requirements: - Acknowledgement of house rules, - List of guests - Copy of renter's photo ID

Policies
Any cleaning fees are for making sure the house is in the same condition for each guest arrival. It does not cover cleaning up after guests who haven't done dishes, picked up garbage or haven't followed checkout instructions.
There is an additional $150 fee to bring a dog (no cats).
￮ If you open it, close it; if you borrow it, return it; if you turn it on, turn it off; if you break it, fix it; if you use it, take care of it; if you make a mess, clean it up; if you move it, put it back
￮ All guests must have traveler insurance on their own for the duration of their stay.
￮ No unregistered guests or outside visitors without previous approval from your host.
￮ Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property
￮ Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests
￮ Willing to provide a government issued id, if requested
￮ Christmas, School Vacation Weeks and July 4th Week - 7 night minimum. Other holiday weekends and July/August require a 3 night minimum.

Highly recommended
Stayed here for 5 nights in late August. Great spot for activities in the area, beautiful house with a great view. A private getaway that I would highly recommend to a friend and would def stay here again

Very clean
Great spot and very clean. Owner advertises potential issues with cell coverage but we had no issues. Christopher was great with communication and follow up. Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy a great area.

Private and very comfortable
Great private setting and very comfortable. Plenty of wood for fires and very close to town stores & Gore. Driveway is steep but if you have all wheel drive it’s not an issue. I’m sure it is well maintained in the snowy weather.

Lovely place
The chalet is a lovely place to get out of the city and be in a beautiful forest home. It is pretty secluded and has access to the lake so it's gorgeous. We especially appreciated that it come fully stocked with almost everything we need to in the kitchen, for people who like to cook. It had board games and plenty of blankets and linings for everyone to use. Wi-Fi connection was fantastic. From our state only the carpet was slightly sandy, which in reality is a really easy fix. We really liked how the driveway was really wide and open, but be careful getting up the driveway, it is a bit steep but nothing our cars couldn't handle. Overall I believe that it's a great place for a great price really close to Lake George and I believe our family may come back again in the future. 9.5/10 overall!!! or 4.95/5 :)

Highly recommend!
Highly recommend! Beautiful, clean home. Turn key ready to go. Pack light the basics are covered! Great view of the pond. The large open floor plan in the living room with the open view concept makes it feel like your living in the trees! Lots of local breweries, trails, and a short trip to Lake George!

Absolutely stunning
An absolutely stunning view and a peaceful space to relax in. A fully stocked kitchen was very helpful and we loved being able to have a fire going in the evening. Short drive from a number of great towns to walk around and countless hiking trails in the area.

Great place in the middle of the Adirondacks
Great place in the middle of the Adirondacks. About half hour drive to Lake George. Kitchen was super well equipped. Wrap around balcony had a great view of a lake. Nice to wake up in the morning, make some coffee and enjoy the outdoors. Attic bedroom was cool too. Recommend the stay.

We had a great time
Stayed 3 nights for spring skiing at Gore. Very convenient. 5mins to the mountain. Beautiful view from the living room. The house was clean and organized. We had a great time.
