We provide Dove body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, even bubble baths. We are located on 10 acres with 2 wildlife ponds full of life. Great for a couples retreat, families and friends of four wanting to enjoy time together. We welcome you to Oven Mountain Chalets well thought out designed to make you feel at home. We provide coffee, teas, hot chocolate, with cream, sugar, and honey. As a special treat for our guest, we make home treats for when they arrive.
The Chalet has AC inside and a screen-enclosed balcony with a table and seating to enjoy your meals listen to nature. Close to many hiking trails, lakes, beaches, restaurants, fun activities in close to local towns. We provide Free hard-wired Internet service / WIFI for those who need to work or run their business abroad. HDMI is ready for those who wish to bring their gaming console. We have free Direct Tv on a 36 Inch Roku Tv. Including Free NFL Sunday ticket, includes red zone channel, 2 mix channels for the Sports lovers. Free landline phone for local and long-distance calls in the USA. Our Chalet has the charm of a small home with all that a home provides. But with the warmth of relaxation, adventures, peace of nature around you. Come have a stroll on our private Alpine Loop Road and check out Al the young Beaver and Baby Blue Heron on your next trip!! Gore Mountain Ski Area is 5 minutes away providing yearly activities, the town of North Creek is 8 minutes away providing you with all your needs for your stay. There is a fire pit with plenty of firewood/ seating. There is a rowboat to enjoy the wildlife up close. The change of the seasons is spectacular. The night skies are magnificent. A natural paradise!!

About the Owner
Hello, we are Bill & Suzie. We fell in love with the Adirondack Park for its peacefulness and beauty. Our hope is to share it with others. We took one of two chalets on our property and with the help of our family, friends and contractors put our hearts and souls into the custom remodeling of Chalet 1. Chalet 2 is in the process of being started, we hope to have it done within the next year. Our families love of nature and the outdoors shines on Oven Mountain. We look forward to welcoming you!!

Fantastic place!
We loved every minute of staying at the chalet. We came up for a ski vacation at gore mountain in early Feb and really enjoyed the convenience and comfort of this rental. Bill and Suzie have a lovely chalet right off a quiet road about 8 minutes from gore mountain. The place is super cozy, fully stocked with everything you would need to cook meals and relax on a giant comfy couch. We really appreciated the delicious treat Bill and Suzie prepared for our arrival. Really can’t say in words how nice it was to stay at the chalet, we will definitely visit again!

Total score for our mountain getaway!
We loved staying at this property! The chalet was spotless and seemingly brand new. Bill and Suzie have thought of absolutely everything! From the bubble bath & soft towels all the way to the hot chocolate and marshmallows, there was nothing we lacked in amenities. There was ample lighting throughout, all of which is on dimmers. We really appreciated that as a nice touch which is often overlooked by most property owners. It is apparent that Bill & Suzie have put a lot of thought & love into creating a warm, cozy and functional space for their guests.
The kitchen has anything you could possibly need as far as cookware, dishes, utensils, kitchen gadgets, cutting boards, bakeware, coffee pot, toaster, microwave and a beautiful oven as well as plenty of pantry items. They even go above and beyond by providing dunkin doughnuts ground coffee and half & half and....get this.....THEY BAKED US A CAKE! Upon our arrival we found they had left us a thank you note along with a delicious, home made apple, maple walnut cake! We were pretty blown away by the personal touches and that set our weekend off to a sweet start!
The living room has a beautiful custom built, L-shaped couch which doubles as two extra single beds...genius! The entertainment center has custom shelving built into the wall with a flat sceen TV to save on space. They provide games for families and books for children.
The bed was also custom built with two large drawers for clothing on each side. It was super comfy & cozy with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Each side has a night stand built into the wall with its own lighting.
The chalet was also fully decorated for Christmas, complete with a Christmas tree inside and on the screened in porch as well as lit trees along the driveway! It was just perfect! The location to Gore Mountain cannot be beat. We plan to forego any hotel to stay at this lovely home for our future Gore trips & cannot wait to go back!

Beautiful!
The chalet is meticulously clean and thoughtfully decorated. The bathroom feels like a spa! Bill and Suzie were very great hosts, even greeting us with delicious homemade treats! We would definitely recommend!!

Lovely Location and Property
My wife and I had a wonderful, albeit short, stay at this property. It is very efficiently designed and takes full advantage of the views of the property. It's also proximate to the quaint town of North Creek. We loved it. Next time, we'll stay a little longer.

A diamond in the rough
Bill and Susie’s chalet was everything for us. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They made sure to communicate before, during and after our stay to keep us in the loop. The chalet itself is stunning! We were greeted by delicious homemade bakes treats and a hand written personalized thank you note for us! Tucked away from the hustle and bustle was their chalet it came with everything we could have possibly needed for our stay! We enjoyed a nice serene night out by the fire pit and breakfast out on the screened in porch. If we could have stayed the entire week we would still be there. Cannot wait to come back to his paradise again !

Amazing Getaway for Small Group
I stayed for one night with my husband and son and loved this property. It's completely beautiful, in its design, its craftsmanship, and its location. I honestly think it's a one-of-a-kind property an loved waking up to the view of the mist rising over the pond, and opening the door to the landscaped vegetable gardens. Everything about this place demonstrates the love that Suzie and Bill have for their environment, and the generosity they have in sharing it with others.

Lovely location
This was my boyfriend and I's second stay at this property. It was clean and beautiful as always. Bill is such a pleasure. The location is private and beautiful. I would highly recommend this property if you are in the area. The kitchen is well stocked for any cooking you may need to do.

Oven Mountain Chalets
I give this rental 5 stars! It's a one room, cozy cottage with everything you can possibly need and then some. Its located in a beautiful setting, close to Gore Mt. ,hiking, cross/country skiing. It would be wonderful in all seasons. We were welcomed with home baked dessert and the friendliest owner. The owners were quick to answer any emails. Everything is new-pots ,pans, towels and the most comfortable mattress you have ever slept on. The rental is perfect or two people. We need to go back when its warm to sit out on the screened in back deck and take in the view. We highly recommend this rental.
