The home has an open floor plan with a full working kitchen, large dining area and a comfortable living room with a wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and dinnerware.
There are 2 full bathrooms, one with a full tub/shower and the other with a shower. Bedroom 1, the master bedroom, has a queen size bed, and bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen and a twin-size bed. Both bedrooms are spacious and have closets. The loft area has 3 twin beds. There is also a mud room with a washer and dryer. The home has a phone, internet, and DISH TV Linens are provided but please bring your own beach towels for outdoor use.
Our home is located on private road minutes from the center of town with private access to the Cedar River and an on-site nature trail. In the warmer months, perfect for an easy walk from your door to the soothing sounds of the cascading river water.
In the Winter, right on the Indian Lake snowmobile trail with easy access to Blue Mountain Lake, Speculator, Long Lake and the Moose River Plains trail system. Skiing at Gore Mountain is only 20 minutes away. Indian Lake also has its own ski hill and ice skating rink to enjoy. Spring season begins with whitewater rafting down the Hudson River, launching right from Indian Lake.
The area offers endless outdoor fun but also is centrally located for exploring all the area has to offer – museums, movie theater, shopping, restaurants, water parks, golf, leaf-peeping, and scenic drives in the fall... The town of Indian Lake offers a full calendar of activities and events for all seasons.

Welcome to our labor of love in the Adirondacks! Indian Lake is a special place for me as I have great memories of all the fun we had as kids on our Summer vacations in Indian Lake. I never thought I would return years later and be able to build my own place- it truly was and is a labor of love.

Each season brings a new adventure: whitewater rafting, kayaking, boating, hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, ice-skating – your choice of outdoor activities is endless. The area offers all kinds of activities and attractions for all seasons.
The simple pleasure of enjoying a cup of coffee on the front porch as the sun rises over the tops of the pine trees, to me that is always a perfect way to begin my Adirondack

Back country Nordic skiing
This was our second stay with Steve and Jean and we really enjoy their hospitality. Steve goes out of his way to answer all concerns very quickly. Will stay here again

Steve and Jean's place was wonderful! We arrived on a snowy Friday evening to a freshly plowed and sanded driveway. The home is spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The fireplace warms the Livingroom so nicely, which was perfect after a day skiing at Gore (20 minutes away). Steve was extremely communicative and ensured our weekend stay was perfect. Thanks again!

Wonderful Adironack Cabin
The cabin was clean and well stocked with towels, wood, linens, and utensils. The community and location was quite, but very accessible to rt 28 and any needed amenities. We would welcome the opportunity to stay again while visiting Gore.

Excellent place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay and owner was very nice and responsive. The neighborhood is lively and is Close to hiking and skiing. We love McSweeneys Irish pub. Thank you!

Get away in the woods
This is the third time we've stayed here, love the location, it's on a private road so not a lot of traffic, finally walked the path down to cedar river and it's a great little trail. Love the fact that the house is dog friendly, I always bring my pups to hike with us. I'm sure we'll be back
