Description
This cozy ADK home has a beautiful view of Lake Algonquin with 110' of lakefront property.The master bedroom has a Stickley bedroom set with ceiling fan and private 1/2 bath. The second bedroom has a great view of the lake with a full bath, including a jet tub across the hall! The great room with oak dining table at one end has cozy furniture on the other to watch the flat screened TV with cable orDVD's or VCR.So you can get your e-mail or use the wifi.We do have unlimited internet! There is a nice romantic gas stove in the living room for chilly nights! In the Sunroom there's a queen size pull out couch with gorgeous lake views .
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove and coffee maker, dishware and cookware. There's an attractive screened in porch, as well as an outside deck to set and relax,read a good book, or take a soothing nap.Nice fire pit outside! The granite steps lead down to the private dock where we supply kayaks or a canoe to explore the lake. Additionally We are dog lovers! There is a nicely fenced in area for your pooch to frolic and play! This is a four season home. The summers are spectacular but so is the Fall foliage season and we especially Love Winter! We enjoy to cross country ski and snowshoe from here. We are adjacent to the NYS snowmobile trail system. Gore Mnt ski center is a 40min direct drive and Oak Mnt Ski Center is 15 minutes north in Speculator. We also love to cross country ski and snowshoe here or go to Lap Land Lake 20 minutes south in Benson. After a long day of activities, there is a local massage therapist on the camp phone speed dial!

We expect you to enjoy it as your home and take care of it like you would your own.
Your pets too, please clean up inside and outside! If you must leave your pet in the cabin alone it MUST be crated, we have found even the best pets have issues in new surroundings when left unattended.
About the Owner
We live in our lake house on Lake Algonquin about 2 miles away!
Mark is an avid water skier! There is a AWSA dimensioned slalom course at the south end of the lake!

Camp with all the comforts right on the lake.
This was one my favorite rentals. House is very comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake. Fished right from the dock and caught one everytime I threw out my line. Hanging by the fire pit at night and stargazing. Very relaxing vacation. Convenient store near by was a nice surprise, good sandwiches and all the basic needs. Would definitely stay again. Debby and Mark were great hosts.

Cozy on the lake
We had the perfect week away! The house was perfect, clean and the property owners were super responsive and sweet. They even left moose shaped cookies for our arrival. Our dogs loved the fenced in area. We all really enjoyed lake life. We'll be back!

Northern Exposure Lake House- A Perfect Getaway
Debby and Mark have what I would call, “a perfect setup”. The house is on a beautiful lake, multiple areas face the lake- (back area to hang out in, sun room, living room, sun porch. I enjoyed doing my yoga in the sun room and reading in the sun porch. There’s also a nice area in back where you can have a fire. The place comes with kayaks and a canoe. Last but not least, Debby makes the best cookies that she leaves for you on the table for your arrival. We had a great stay! Thank you Debby and Mark!

Rest and relaxation
The property was lovely with a clear lakeside view. The weather provided some challenges at first with a light May snowfall but the warm weather has come up to the Adirondack Mtns. The fire pit was excellent as was the hummingbirds on the property and other lovely birds. The neighborhood was fairly quiet. I would love to come back in the Autumn or winter. Thanks Thomas

Great Dog-Friendly House on the Lake!
The house was perfectly located for our planned Winter activities (hiking, snowmobiling & relaxing). Everything we needed & more was provided in the house. Debby was kind/thoughtful enough to stop by and drop off some fresh baked cookies for us!

Comfort
We really loved this scenic lake house. well stocked and plenty of room in the bedrooms. Would love to come back maybe in the summertime and bring the dog. We were hoping for some snow for snowmobiling but had a very nice stay.

Our getaway
Absolutely immaculate & well kept home. The sunrise is beautiful. Having a propane gas stove inside & a fire pit outside was perfect with the fall weather. The best part was we were able to bring our dog & they have a fenced in area! Will be back for sure.
