Description
Our Diamond Point vacation home is conveniently located between the village of Lake George and the town of Bolton Landing. There is a lake view when trees are not in full bloom. It is remodeled, comfortable, and peaceful with a babbling brook in the backyard. There are 3 bedrooms in the house, with an additional sitting room with a full bed.
The house is fully equipped as we used this as a second home before making it a vacation rental. There is an adjoining deck with a grill for barbecues, and a second deck off the master bedroom. Kayaks, paddle boards, and bicycles are available for your use. We have a nearby cabin that is on the water, where we keep the kayaks and paddle boards.
Our house is located 3 1/2 miles north of the village of Lake George and 5 miles south of Bolton Landing. There are several public beaches within 10 minutes of the house. The surrounding area offers many outdoor activities; swimming, biking, hiking and horseback riding are all readily available. Shopping, an array of restaurants, amusement parks, and historic and cultural sites are also nearby. Bus transportation is available to all the nearby attractions and towns from Memorial Day through Labor Day. It is less than 30 minutes to Saratoga, providing an excellent location during horse racing season.
There is a large deck with a picnic table for outdoor eating and a screened-in porch for relaxing in the evenings. Several books, movies, and games are available for your use. Our house remains cool throughout the summer while allowing you to enjoy the summer fun during the day. There are many great restaurants in the area, numerous outdoor activities, and entertainment venues nearby.
Diamond Point is a 5-minute drive to the Lake George village or Bolton Landing, but more peaceful and avoids the summer crowds. It is less than 3 miles from the Northway (87) and provides easy access to the entire Adirondack region. We have been vacationing in Lake George for more than 30 years and enjoy all the area has to offer. I stay nearby when renting, and I'm easily accessible should you need to contact me.

There are 3 bedrooms and a sitting room with a full size bed. Bedroom 1- sleeps 2, bedroom 2 - can sleep 3 (it has 2 twins with a roll away), bedroom 3- can sleep 4 ( has a full and full futon). The sitting room has a full bed with a screen if needed.

About the Owner
We are a retired couple that have enjoyed family vacations in Lake George for more than 30 years. We have 2 adult married children with 4 young granddaughters. We live in Putnam County, NY but spend a great deal of time in Lake George. I am a retired educator, and my husband is a retired attorney. We appreciate all the area has to offer. We purchased the house as second home after camping in the area for many years. We rent out our home to other families, and mature adults so you may enjoy the beauty of the lake and surrounding area. We have created lasting memories with family and friends over the years, enjoying the lake and surrounding mountains during the day, and numerous restaurants, entertainment, and relaxing in the evenings. When renting out the house, we stay in another home nearby and are easily accessible.

Family vacation
Our week at the house in Diamond Point was wonderful. Beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. Kitchen was large and well equipped. The ceiling fans and window fans kept the house comfortable even though it was fairly humid for a few days. There is a brook behind the house that was nice to listen to at night. Location was great for our purposes, close to Bolton, Lake George Village and Warrensburg. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice stay
We enjoyed our stay in Diamond Point to celebrate my sons 16th birthday. Our check in was a little different then other VRBO’s I have stayed at as we were met by the owner, Chris. She showed us around and then took us 3-4 miles down the road so the boys could use the kayaks.
The beds were comfortable and it was nice and cool in the house. There is a nice stream that runs through the back of the property that the boys explored.
There were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. We really had everything we needed in the house.

Great location- wonderfully accomodating
Chris was excellent and we took advantage of her offer to borrow their kayak and paddleboards. She was very welcoming and cooked us brownies!

Great place to stay!
Communication with the owners was fast, informative, and very friendly. When we arrived, the owner was waiting for us and gave us a tour and great information on surrounding areas (and also a delicious plate of brownies). The house was located within 15 minutes of anywhere we went, which was great.. especially with having 3 young children with us! It was a great place to visit, even with the rain!

Great respite
We travel with several disabled children and though there were lots of stairs, overall the home was perfect for our needs!!! The access to a washer and dryer was a huge bonus! We made breakfast and most dinners at the house which saved lots of money. We also visited Rogers Beach in Bolton Landing (another very cute town up the road only 10 minutes) and it was PERFECT for us!! We also traveled with our dog and the locked screened porch was wonderful for Roscoe and our youngest to enjoy sitting outside on the couches without worrying about their escape. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Diamond Point Lake George in July
Our family wanted to bring our boat to Lake George during July to get out on the water. Christine and Brett's house was perfect for us. Christine had parking in her driveway for our car, the boat and our sons car. We put in at Bolton Landing several times and enjoyed Lake George from the water, what an especially beautiful lake it is. We had plenty of room inside the house for 6 adults and enjoyed a fire outside and the picnic table with umbrella for meals. Very close to Bolton Landing and Lake George Village. We had access to the Diamond Point beach area which is walking distance from the house. The house is in a very quiet, well kept area and we had everything we needed. Christine was very helpful with our quesitons and showed us around the property upon arrival.

Chris met us when we arrived and gave a tour of the home, provided detailed information about the Lake George area, and surprised us with delicious brownies. The home is very comfortable, nicely equipped for cooking meals, and located a short driving distance from the village of Lake George and Bolton Landing. Our family enjoyed our stay:)

Great owner and location
Chris was really nice and helpful! The house was great and had enough room for all 7 of us on the trip. The location was nice and quiet but also had easy driving access to hikes and the village of Lake George. The house was not air conditioned as advertised though, it had fans everywhere instead which helped some with the heat. Also, there were not 2 single bedrooms as listed, one of the “singles” was actually a bed at the top of the stairs in the hallway which was not ideal.

The house has 3 separate bedrooms and an additional area with a full bed. It is not advertised as having air conditioning, but does have 5 ceiling fans, 4 portable circulating fans, and 2 window fans.
Charming house in Diamond Point, NY
We were very pleased to stay in this charming, meticulously clean and organized house in Diamond Point, NY. Conveniently located between Lake George village and Bolton Landing, you have access to both places within 10 min by car. Diamond point
We stayed at the house for five nights over Columbus Day weekend . Chris met us on arrival and showed us around the home . She left a delicious tray of brownies which we appreciated after our drive. Our son and his fiancé joined us for two of the nights , and the house was more than spacious enough for the four of us . The kitchen is big and wonderful and we enjoyed using the outside deck . The house feels comfortable and welcoming . The location was extremely convenient, just off lakeshore drive and close to both lake George village and the town of Bolton Landing . We had a wonderful few days there and would not hesitate to go back !
