The house has an Adirondack great room with unique vertical log construction you remember from a by-gone era. It includes a large flat panel television, vaulted log ceilings and a gourmet kitchen with new appliances, a second refrigerator/freezer, an additional island sink, and an open floor plan for entertaining. There is seating at the island for 6. Also, a small table for 4-6.
There are 3 Bedrooms: The master suite has a King bed and walks out to the lake view patio. The walk-in closet has ample space and the en-suite bathroom has a double vanity and oversize shower. Fold-out chair and Foldaway twin bed available in closet in Master. The upstairs suite boasts gorgeous lake views, a queen bed and a full futon with en-suite bath with shower/tub and double vanity. The 3rd bedroom has a queen and twin bed. There is a separate bathroom with a tub/shower.
On the main level, there is a new extra-large stacked clothes washer and dryer. There is also an extra half bath near the foyer for guests. WiFi is available and cable TV is provided. Enjoy the enclosed porch with windows for off-season and open to screens to enjoy the summer and fall breezes. There is a lakeside deck with dining, lean-to, fireplace and private boat dock and swimming beach. This house sleeps up to 10 comfortably.
Bridgeview provides 2 kayaks, 2 stand-up paddles, and 1 canoe. There are also lifejackets available. If needed there are nearby rentals at Raquette River Outfitters. Enjoy Lake Simond, Big Tupper Lake, Raquette Pond, and Raquette River directly accessed from your property. Don't forget to visit the Wild Center Museum while you're here - you can even do a day canoe to the museum with lunch and a private tour!
There is also year-round activities at Bridgeview. It is nearby James Frennette cross country trails, has ice fishing and ice skating in your front yard, snow shoeing, hiking and the Olympic village of Lake Placid all nearby!

Why we think you will enjoy staying in Tupper Lake: This is a year round destination! The summer boasts unlimited activities. Canoeing, hiking, boating, swimming, bike watching, sailing and more. The fall has foliage that is not to be beat, great hiking time. The winter is a wonderland of beautiful snow, skating, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and Tupper is in the middle of 3 ski resorts for all levels of expertise. Icefish and skate In the winter! Any time of year, you can enjoy the beautify of Tupper Lake, part of the Tri-lakes!
Why our property is special: Bridgeview offers the luxury of an updated home with a nice kitchen and entertaining space. All bathrooms are large and private to each bedroom allowing for additional comfort and privacy. Our home is directly on the water- sitting on the porch, deck or in the lean-to are all very peaceful with gorgeous views. During the fall, the foliage is incredible and it is a wonderful time of year for a canoe or building a fire by the lean-to. The winter allows for fun in the snow, skating on the lake in front!

“My family and I have been staying at this lovely property each summer as part of our family reunion for many years. We look forward to our stay here at this beautiful camp and have many fond memories. The camp is super comfortable with an open layout and each bedroom has it's own full bathroom. The kitchen and living room area are spacious and open, perfect for getting together with family and friends as well as small children. The waterfront is ideal for activities including swimming, kayaking, waterskiing, paddleboarding etc. We like to take a family kayak trip directly from the camp up the river to The Wild Center museum- the wildlife along the way is awesome including blue herons, loons, various birds, beavers, deer, and sometimes eagles! In the evening it's fun to hang out by the fire pit with a glass of wine and the kids love making s'mores. There are also hiking trails/mountains nearby to explore. The Adirondacks are so beautiful and this is a wonderful home base from which to explore. The hosts of the property are very welcoming and open to feedback/addressing any concerns that may arise (we had a problem with a coffee pot not working properly and it was replaced right away). ”
