Pine Place is a two-bedroom, fully furnished, private apartment. All linens are provided.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, 2nd bedroom has two twin beds and there is a queen sleeper sofa with a memory foam mattress in the living room. Free WiFi, 3 TV/DVDs, gas fireplace, whirlpool tub, full-sized kitchen, washer/dryer on premise, private off-street parking, BBQ, yard, deck, and beautiful flower gardens. In winter, you can walk to the xc ski trails. You can always walk the 4 blocks to Main Street in Lake Placid where the shops, restaurants and movies are located.

Perfect For Our Adirondack Adventure
I've stayed at dozens of VRBO places and Peggy's place is up there with the best of the best.
Very clean when we got there, and conveniently located a few minutes walk from downtown Lake Placid but still very quiet and peaceful. Lots of parking and conveniently close to a semi-arterial road but, as I said, very quiet.
Best of all, though, was how well equipped the apartment was, it had absolutely everything we needed for the four days we were there. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and more, all the dishes, utensils, etc. that I can imagine ever needing. There was lots of extra bed linen and towels, soap, shampoo, etc. plus some very thoughtful touches, e.g. a USB charging plug on the bedside table in the master bedroom. I don't think I've every stayed in a place that was as well equipped.
We really liked the decor in the apartment, pictures, skis, etc. representative on the many activities available in that area. Chairs, beds, etc. were very comfortable.
And Peggy was great, too, friendly and accessible and responsive and helpful. And knowing that we'd be bringing bicycles that we didn't want to leave outside, she set things up such that we could store them inside, such a helpful and thoughtful touch.
And speaking of bicycles, that big jacuzzi bath tub was just what the doctor ordered after some challenging rides!
All in all, a superior rental experience, I absolutely recommend it.
Hope to be back sooner rather than later!

Perfect fall getaway
Stayed at Peggy’s lovely home for a weekend of hiking. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, and a short walk to the Main Street. Peggy was a wonderful host and reached out prior to our stay with hiking suggestions. Would return in a heartbeat!

This our second stay at Pine Place (we stayed for 5 nights last August as well) and we had another great experience. Location is fantastic, host is friendly and communicative, and the property itself is clean and well-suited for our family. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others!

Great, peaceful place walking distance from the Lake and Town.
This property is great. Check-in was easy and communicate fast and accurate.
The house is within walking distance from all the shops and restaurants (5-10 minute, depends on your pace).
The house had everything you need, clean and cozy.
Overall strongly recommend to all, visiting the Lake Placid.

Property is awesome - Peggy helped us with our hiking adventure. I completed 2 more peaks of the 46'ers and my daughter completed 5 peaks - had a wonderful time and perfect weather!

Excellent property
Lovely large living room with great Adirondack decor. Great facilities, good blinds for a good nights sleep. We had a great time here and will definitely come back when we return to lake placid.

Very enjoyable stay
We just enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Peggy’s property. Very clean and all the small accommodations were there. Good communication and no down side at all. She even helped recommend additional cross country ski areas which worked out great. I highly recommend this property.

Coming here is the best!!!!
We stayed here in Aug 2020 and returned this past weekend Jan, 2020.
Both winter and summer seasons have many activities to offer.
