Description

Birches is located on the former Lake Placid club grounds and were part of a compound used to house European royalty prior to World War I.

Birches are conveniently located one block from Mirror Lake and five blocks from the center of the Village.

Our vacation rental has awesome views of the Adirondack High Peaks, as well as the Olympic ski jumps, bobsled runs, and Lake Placid golf courses. Birches sit on one acre of wooded property and have a larch first-floor porch with Adirondack chairs to enjoy the mountain scenery.

Each one of the guest rooms has Tempur-Pedic mattresses for a fabulous rest, as well as reading porches, including two that are suitable for outdoor sleeping for the adventurous. Birches also have a seven-person hot tub with views of the High Peaks, as well as a recreation room with a pool table and a large family room with a stone fireplace, game table, French doors, and numerous windows. A large kitchen with a breakfast bar and dining room with window seats adjoins the family room and is excellent for entertainment for large groups.
