We rent this property for an annual trip every year they're always clean. The process of super easy and getting in contact and keeping in contact with the property manager is by far the easiest thing in the world they are also very accommodating.

We are 3 couples that have been friends for over 25 years. We have enjoyed spending a long weekend here at Sugar Hill. It is close to many snowshoe hiking options and the hamlet of Schroon Lake for groceries, etc. We cook tasty meals and totally enjoy sitting around the fireplace enjoying great conversations. We have always found the cabin clean and comfortable with the kitchen well stocked and large enough for our cooking needs and seating space at the table. Aside from having to bring our own sheets for the beds and towels for bathing, dish towels / dish cloth and dish soap, we also bring extra paper towels and toilet paper just in case.
Mike and Judy were quick to reply to our messages and always helpful with any questions we might have.

My wife and I were looking to hole up for a few days with our dog to relax and do some snowshoeing. This cabin was perfect for us.
The cabin is situated in a quiet area and can't be seen from the road. There was plenty of wood left for us to have a fire for a few hours every day. The shower/bath was great and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen had everything we could have needed.
There are several short hikes just a few minutes away. We showshoed Gull Pond and Mount Severence. The supermarket is also less than ten minutes away in the town of Schroon Lake.

Nice sized kitchen and dining table, cozy fireplace! Access to laundry and paper towels/toilet paper would have made this place even better! Don’t forget to bring your own bath towels and dish towels :)

The cabin was perfect for our needs. Clean and well appointed. Close to town and the kids loved the beach. Magic Forest in Lake George was also a fun day for the kids (7 & 5). We relaxed with no pressure to do anything but enjoy the camp and the weather. We'd be happy to go back.

This is the third year my family stayed at his cabin, and once again it was a nice stay.
The cabin itself is accurately described in the Home Away / VRBO posting. It is clean, the kitchen well stocked, nice screened in porch; and it's air conditioned.!
The location is good. Schroon Lake Beach, food store & restaurants are all a short drive from the cabin. The town beach is clean and centrally located. "Flanigans" (good bar food), "Witherby's" (nicer dining) and "Sticks & Stones" (family dining) were all good places to eat.
If you're planning on going to Schroon Lake, this is a great home base....
