Two families with small children stayed comfortably for two nights at Chalet 5. We were very close to downtown LP. The house is located on a beautiful little cul-de-sac in the woods. There was a great view of the snow covered mountains from the living room window. The kitchen was stocked with all of the necessities. The house was clean and in great order. Beds were super comfy. I didn't think the pictures on this site did the place justice. Book it.

We stayed there with our Elite Ski Team in January and we had a blast. The Property was as advertised and even exceeded our expectation. Starting from the convenient Garage, living space, bedrooms, gourmet kitchen.....all perfect! Thanks for hosting us and on our next visit in Lake Placid we will definitely stay there again.

I'm torn on recommending Chalet #5 as it might hinder my possibilities of being able to get it again.
This was our second time staying at Chalet #5 and it was just as good of a time, if not better than the first. They are 2/2.
The house was perfect; cozy, comfortable and clean! Not to mention, our ski vacation went smoothly and without a hitch. I'm already in the process of booking the house again during the winter and if we are fortunate enough one more time in the summer.

We had a wonderful getaway staying in this home. The home had plenty of space. Although very close to everything, it is perfectly tucked away. There is a nice balance in the convenience this home offers to shopping and great restaurants and the actual feeling of being away from it all. The home was very clean and well maintained. Beautiful view of Whiteface from the living area! This is a perfect place to relax. We will certainly be returning to this lovely home and highly recommend it to others.
