From the first moment we got there we were impressed such a beautiful area and the cabin was adorable. It was so clean and had everything you would need for a great vacation. There are a lot of great places to hike and kayak nearby we definitely plan on going again soon also communication with the host was great!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay (our 5 year old stayed in the loft but our little one slept in a pack n play in our room downstairs). As the property is off the main road and up a driveway with no direct water access I felt very safe letting my 5 and 2 year old play outside around the cabin. My daughter “loved our vacation house so much” she didn’t want to leave. Everything was lovely. The lake is perfect and the beach is a short walk or drive. We took their kayaks out for a fun paddle. There are a bunch of short day trips to waterfalls, The Wild Center, Northville 5 and dime, etc that were fun adventures for our little ones. We truly enjoyed the porch and the lightening bug shows every night as well as the fire pit. We brought our own hammock and there were two perfect trees to hang it. Gerry stopped by to welcome us and was always available if we had questions. Perfect family vacation spot.

A great little cabin with forest all around. A clean comfortable place to come back to after hiking or fishing. I will be coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay! Very relaxing. Did some hiking, kayaking, walking around Wells and a few trips to Speculator. Would definitely go back!! The property was very clean and the owners were very friendly.

Had a cozy end of November visit. Spent majority of our time in the cabin and had the right amount of space for two adults. Star gazing with some hot chocolate was magical.

I have stayed at this property on several occasions and hope to return. I usually visit in late fall. The cabin is in tip top shape and very comfortable. It is located in spectacular country if you like hiking, and paddling. There are no amenities of the big city or larger towns which is the whole reason for being there in the first place. There is a charcoal grill and firepit outside. Bring your own groceries, there are limited facilities in Wells but more extensive shopping choices in nearby Northville. I eat just about all of my meals at the cabin but there are some decent and select restaurants in Wells and Speculator. Some restaurants are seasonal however so after mid October many are closed. A listing of restaurants and amenities is included in the Cabin brochure and book file.

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Cabin was clean and comfy with a mountain view and very close to lake. Everyone we met was extremely friendly. Easy driving distance to nearby resort towns.
