Excellent rental house on gorgeous property.

I had a great stay at echo hill. The house is unique and clean. It’s located right in between two really nice small towns. It’s nestled at the bottom of mountain so it feels wild and there is a ton of fascinating wildlife. It’s also close to hiking trails. The pool is great! The retractable shelter really came in handy when temperatures were on the cooler side, but we had plenty of sunshine as well. Robyn is a fantastic host, very responsive, knows the property well, is professional and well versed/organized regarding the many tasks required to maintain such a beautiful property. The house is very spacious and the property is quite large too, it’s all gorgeous. I can’t wait to return! Thanks Robyn!

Winter getaway

We enjoyed our winter weekend at this house! Only note was that the loft bedroom in the main house was a little chilly because if we turned the thermostat up, the downstairs bedroom would become a furnace. Luckily, we like bundling up with blankets so it wasn't a problem!

Winter relaxation

Had a wonderful time over our winter stay. The hot tub tub did just the trick, and we really appreciated how close the property was located to hiking trails.

Amazing find!

Such a unique property. My group of friends had so much fun hanging out by the pool and watching movies by the fire. The house is so cool- very interesting artwork and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. Robyn was a great host as well

Excellent property

This is one of the best rental homes we have found. Complete privacy with an amazing pool that is still warm in 65 degree weather, and a very well appointed interior. We enjoyed almost every meal on the huge table on the screened in porch, did movies in the family room, and took daily walks down the hill to drop off trash/recycling and enjoy the view (it's a little over half a mile round trip from the house to the street). You are about 15 minutes from any stores, but it's worth it to get the privacy. I do agree with the one other post about wishing it was clear which property belongs to the house, and we were bummed that there was no path to get down to the pond, but overall this is a tremendous home and we would love to stay again!

Beautiful, private location

This house easily earned it's 5 star review. My husband and I stayed here in Sept 2020. The house is in a beautiful, quiet area. The home is well laid out with two loft style bedrooms, and one master bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked, and the guest soaps/shampoos were appreciated. The pool and hot tub were a WONDERFUL addition. The outdoor space in this house was our favorite part. We also appreciated that they are pet friendly. Communication with the property manager was easy, and we found the house to be clean and tidy. Some things we wished were different: The property has 40 acres, but we were unsure of what goes with the house. There is beautiful fields and forests surrounding the home, but the last thing we wanted to do was trespass on someone else's property. Maintenance crews showed up unannounced several times. One afternoon we got quite the shock when a landscaper wandered into the yard when my sister and I were sunbathing. The pool maintenance folks also arrived early (before 8 am) one morning while I was out walking the dogs. Luckily they are well behaved and friendly! Overall those two things did not detract enough from our stay to effect the 5 star review. This place really is beautiful and worth the visit!

Peaceful Retreat

This house is absolutely lovely, well equipped with all you need and more. Absolutely beautiful property and tranquil setting. If you enjoy nature and quiet solitude while still being able to have access to five star conveniences, this is the home for you to visit! My only wish would be for part of the backyard to be fenced for dog and kid safety. The property manager Robyn is an absolute delight and truly available for anything you need 24/7. My only regret is that I wasn't able to stay the whole summer!
