Relaxing Stay

Our stay in the Honeoye Lake Cottage was everything we expected and more!!! Beautifully located by the Honeoye Lake with a park just in front of the house. Two minutes from grocery store and the boat rental place. Our family really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely recommend it to our friends.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at your cottage. The view was beautiful. Tha kitchen was newly remodeled and had everything you could possibly want.! Our grandchildren had lots of fun on the grassy field and small beach. I would highly

recommend this cottage and hope to return in the future.

Relaxing Vacation Spot

This lake house is a great destination for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The location is ideal, just yards away from the lake with a big park in between the house and the water.

The place offers plenty of sleeping space with 2 queen size beds and a full size, as well as a futon downstairs.

My family and I enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July holiday with plenty of fireworks to watch along the lake. We also took a day trip to Dansville to visit Stony Brook State Park. The 30 minute drive was well worth it and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The only thing that stopped me from rating the property as excellent is the fact that the staircase to the bedrooms is a spiral staircase. This probably isn't a big deal to most visitors but it could be a concern for families with very young children or elderly persons in their party. (The staircase was no problem for our 4 year old but 3 & under might be a concern). Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay and we will consider it again in the future.

Family Get Together

We had a really good time as an extended family. we loved having the open space/park across the street to fly kites, play soccer and baseball. we were five minutes from a beach for swimming that had 2 play structures and a fishing pond. Loved having a washer and dryer on site, especially with swimming daily etc... we were close to Rochester so when the weather was bad we went to see a movie. Great golfing in the area, beautiful drives. the town had a good grocery store, and we were able to find all we needed to make our meals at the cabin. We also drove to Rochester to go to Sea Breeze, water/amusement park.

a suggestion would be to have a few more things on hand for those renting stocked in the kitchen. example, spices, with only staying for a week, we had to buy all our condiments/spices and there was no way to use them up, so we left them behind.

The spiral staircase to the second floor was great for the adults and older children, but would not recommend it for a family with toddlers.

Charles/Chuck, was amazing, meet us at the cabin, that was really appreciated. we would most definitely recommend others to rent the cabin.

RDB

An enjoyable place to stay. A beautiful view of the lake from either the inside or outside porch. Exceptionally well kept and exceptionally well equiped, which included cable TV and internet. The new kitchen was a big plus. The owner was very pleasant and easy to get along with. The size of the lake is great, not too big and not too small.

Great Time

Cottage is spotless inside and out...very well maintained...cottage is nicely furnished and beds are very comfortable...brand new remodeled kitchen would be the envy of any homeowner .....beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding hills especially from the lower enclosed porch or the second floor balcony...

lake is not very busy so you can really enjoy being out on the water...the town is small but has everything that you would need - gas station, restaurants, grocery store, etc....thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to visit again next fall.

Wonderful Fall Getaway

We wanted a week away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life and that's exactly what we got! This beautifully-appointed cottage was just right for the two of us. The view from the bedroom window was a delight to wake up to, and the sunporch was so warm, we were in shirtsleeves, even though it was in the 40s outside. We had every amenity we could need (even a crockpot!), including cable television and internet access and didn't have to leave the cottage for most of the week. We were a short car drive from wine country, had we wanted to indulge. The Village of Honeoye was just little over a mile away, and there was a nice nature trail nearby, as well. We were quite pleased with our stay in this beautiful, lakefront cottage.

StrykerCity

We had a great time at this cottage. It was close to the marina and Sandy Bottom Beach if you wanted to go there. Also close to town for the grocery store and gas. THe cottage is well kept. The air conditioner in the main bedroom was nice as it was in the 90's a couple of days. The Kitchen is beautiful and has everything you could need for cooking. The only thing that would have been a little more convenient would be a propane grill vs. the charcoal grill (takes too long to get hot and get dinner ready). We loved the back patio and porch to look out at the lake. And I like that the lake is smaller. There aren't alot of boaters during the week. If you need to rent a boat, Trident marina is right around the corner from the cottage. Overall, a great place to stay.

Wonderful Stay

The cottage exceeded our expectations. The owner was helpful and friendly. The weather was even good. We had excellent fishing and my wife caught a 5 1/2 lbs Largemouth Bass. We will definitely consider staying here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, comfortable place on Honeoye Lake.
