Super clean, lots of space inside and on the property for the kids and our dog to play. Very quick drive into Lake Placid or Wilmington on the scenic 86 and ideally located for the fly fishermen in our family. The owner was very responsive and called ahead of time to remind us of the cool discount we had at the ADK Pizza restaurant in Wilmington!

We all really enjoyed our stay here for a long weekend. The house was very clean and had all of the essentials we needed for cooking. The house was so much bigger than expected and the 3 levels is an amazing layout. We will be looking into staying here again or at their other rentals.

The house is beautiful, the rooms are pretty and large, it is a very well maintained property that has a stamp "olympic games". We stayed 2 nights and never ran out of space. 5 star rating for the Olympic Dream Chalet!

Spent a long weekend in Lake Placid. Shared the home with another family. 4 adults and three kids. Home was spacious, clean and well maintained. Huge kitchen with adjacent family room was perfect. Outdoor hot tub was great and clean! We also used the outdoor fire pit. Kids loved it. Home is a 15 minute drive to town and less than 5 minutes from Whiteface mountain. Lake Placid is a wonderful place and so is the Olympic Dreams Chalet.

This is one of the nicest houses we have ever rented. We enjoyed the very private location with numerous restaurants, grocery store, and gas station located a few minutes away. It is very clean and well maintained, has plenty of king sized beds, and large bathrooms. Our only negative is that the living room area is not quite as big as the picture makes it look, but that didn't stop us from having a great time.

We climbed mountains, visited old friends, and returned from our adventures each day to a lovely home. We ended our days around the fire, planning our next moves and celebrating just being together.
The home easily accommodated our eight adults and one child. The airy great room/open kitchen was perfect for mealtime gatherings. The cooking facilities are superb, and each night different members of our party used them to full effect.
Todd is a gracious host, and Ms.Kim Colby an attentive caretaker. They are among the nicest people in the High Peaks region. We've been vacationing in this area for three decades, and Olympic Dreams Chalet fits our present family setup as perfectly as any we have ever rented. Our hikers and climbers loved the hot tub and sauna, and our toddler chased us all over the yard while she waited for each day's outing to begin.
We have enjoyed our stay tremendously. I would recommend Olympic Dreams Chalet to anyone looking for a lovely home base during their Adirondack High Peaks vacation.
