A very large 4 bedroom home with a beautiful large kitchen. Sauna in the basement and hot tub on the deck that overlooks whiteface mountain. Great for a group getaway to visit the Olympic sites or skiing. Very easy check in/out.

My family and I stayed the first week of January 2022 for 3 nights. Our children ages 10, 7 and 2 enjoyed playing with the snow in the yard. The hot tub was also a nice wind down for my husband and I after dinner and don’t forget the sauna! The house is large with 3 floors and beautiful large windows with a perfect view of Whiteface Mountain. My family and I didn’t need the downstairs as we all cozied up on the main floor near the fireplace most of our stay. It was our first time visiting Wilmington and Lake Placid so naturally I had a good amount of questions. Judi answered all of them and helped us enjoy the amenities in the surrounding areas. We enjoyed walking on mainstreet and bought sleds to ride the golf course. The Olympic center was closed for renovations but we were still able to walk by and take a look. Mt. Puglisi is a cute mountain near Lake Placid for beginner skiers and they also offer snow tubing. Unfortunately they weren’t ready to open for snow tubing the week of our stay. Had my kids been up for a new adventure it would have been the perfect place for them to learn how to ski. They preferred to go back to the house instead. Mt Puglisi was about a 30 minute easy car ride. On the ride home we all agreed we would love to go back sometime in the near future and stay again! There would be no need to look for new overnight accommodations as Mt Chalet is perfect for our family! Very clean, spacious and well kept. We felt very safe in the home too.

Excellent accommodations in a good location with a spectacular view of the mountains. Our party had four couples and two 1 y/o's and the extra large kitchen/dining area that opened up onto the living room was great for continuous cooking and socializing. Would absolutely recommend, especially for those who love to cook and nest on winter getaways.

Amazing stay! The house is very roomy yet cozy, the view of the mountain was beautiful, and Todd was very responsive and helpful. I could not have asked for a better experience and will definitely rebook if we are ever back in area!

Firstly, the communication between the host and I was amazing! so friendly with such a beautiful home with the most picturesque views and great amenities strong wifi and a fully stocked kitchen my family and I loved it and will definitely return!

Loved the place, very helpful hosts and amazing views!! Loved the big kitchen, we cooked thanksgiving dinner and they provided all sorts of dish ware for this. Would love to come back with friends as well, very spacious. Didn’t love the beds but the rest made up for it! Recommend it!
