I would recommend Todd's place for anyone traveling to the Lake Placid region. It's clean, straight forward communication, and not too far from town. Be prepared to buy/bring extra supplies like extra toilet paper, paper towels, etc but Todd is upfront about that in his description of the place. Again, would highly recommend.

Todd's place was great! A clean, up to date home with all the amenities. So close to Whiteface and the Ausable river and only a short drive to Lake Placid too. A nice touch was the availability of firewood for sale right at the home. That could save you a trip down the road. What a great idea! Todd was a great host. He was always quick to respond to any of my questions. His recommendation to check out the Bear Den Coffee & Gifts in the village of Wilmington was a good one. The owner there was super nice and she had a great place to get some coffee. Thanks for the nice vacation Todd!

Todd's place was everything we hoped for and more! The house was plenty spacious for our family of 4 and our 3 dogs. House was very clean and everything seemed new and in great working condition. Kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub and sauna were awesome features. Location was great for our late spring getaway near to many cool hiking trails, Lake Placid and Whiteface Mt. Couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommend staying here!!

Absolutely gorgeous home with the amenities of a luxurious 5 star hotel. Extremely clean and the house was stocked with everything to make it a care free escape. Todd was exceptional in his communication, attention to detail, attentiveness, and availability...he set the bar for all hosts. This will be a long weekend that will long be remembered!

I booked this rental for a long weekend with my boyfriend. We truly enjoyed our stay! This chalet is right off the road but it quiet. The host Todd is very friendly and prompt. He told us about the Flume Trails within a half mile from the chalet which we definitely recommend you check out. We really enjoyed the amenities of the chalet, especially the hot tub! The sauna was also nice--the max temp was almost 160 F. When we had questions about the setting up wi-fi access through the television, the caretaker responded to our inquiry very promptly within 20 minutes and walked us through the troubleshooting. We can't wait to book again!

This house was great & in a good location to Whiteface & Lake Placid. The home feels new and is nicely appointed. The hot tub & sauna were great extras! I would rent from Todd again - and may try his other properties as well.
