My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night after climbing Algonquin Peak and we immediately felt at home the second we opened the door! We truly fell in love with the place and know that we will bring ourselves back there again. Sandra was the absolute sweetest and drove by just to make sure we were all set and had what we needed. It was an incredible, secluded cabin!!

Sandra’s cabin is a hidden gem. It is private, beautiful, and you don’t need to go anywhere else. The cabin has everything needed to make a great meal with spices, oil and cooking utensils. We will be back and cannot wait!!

We've stayed at several Airbnb's and this by far was one of our favorite's for many reasons. The hosts welcomed us with items to make s'mores which was a sweet gesture and a hit for our children ages 5 and 9. Sandy and Lou were there if we needed them, and weren't overbearing. Lou was kind enough to show our son how the solar panels and generators work to power the place. The cabin was clean and quaint, we all loved the bath tub, relaxing at night on the porch and having campfires. It was the perfect getaway for our family, we were able to disconnect from devices, electronics, spend quality time together and re center ourselves as a family. Our children had a blast playing in the beautiful scenery, kayaking, hiking the trails, crossing the tram over to the swimming hole ect. We're already planning our next trip to this little slice of heaven. Other things we did were on the way to the cabin, we went to the Wild Center in Tupper Lake (about 40 minutes or so away), after the Wild Center we went over to Bog River Falls which was a few minutes from there (absolutely amazing views there and there's a spot you can tube down the falls). We went to Foxy Roxy's one morning for breakfast ( pancakes were HUGE ), and on the way back to our place in the 1000 Islands, we stopped at the Eisenhower Locks in Massena ( about 40 minutes away) where we saw a tanker ship come into the locks which was awesome! I think the only negative was that we weren't aware that most things in Potsdam restaurant wise are closed on Monday's, so we had limited choices but it all worked out :) We highly recommend this place!
