Beautifully maintained and furnished lodge in a quiet scenic spot next to a pond. Perfect for large groups . Most bedrooms have their own private bath. Awesome cooking kitchen, patio with gas fire pit overlooking a scenic pond, beach area for kids...trails to walk. Just so comfortable, clean and tranquil. Our favorite spot to visit with friends and their kids! The “kids” are now young adults and this lodge remains their favorite weekend of the year! HIGHLY recommend Otter Creek Lodge.

We’ve used Otter Creek Lodge for several years for large 14-22 person getaways. The place is fantastic - the setting is beautiful and private, well kept and supplied. We really have no complaints. All have enjoyed our stay each year and look forward to coming back. Jim Somers, the owner and Mike, Otter Creek’s caretaker, are a pleasure to deal with. Otter Creek is the best rental facility I’ve ever used for family and business getaways.

The lodge and grounds are beautiful. The accommodations excellent, everything you could need or want is right there. The owner was great to work with and the caretaker was informative and responsive. The private beach was amazing. It was a perfect weekend. We can't wait until next year!

Otter Creek lodge has been a tradition in our family for 18 years. For my family (7 people), and my brother’s and sister’s families (19 people), it has been an amazing place to relax, rejuvenate and celebrate.
The natural beauty of this location is amazing and many years we never even left the house/grounds and just enjoyed the property. Now, we often explore the area (locally) and enjoy; hiking, swimming at the water falls, golfing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting…to mention a few.
The accommodations are great and property has something for everyone. The ownership has also continued to invest in the property and make upgrades year-over-year.
The best complement I can give Otter Creek is the fact that our (now) teenage children look forward to going today, just as much as they did when we first arrived in 2000.

Beginning in 2001, we have gathered our family together at Otter Creek Lodge for an annual reunion for 18 consecutive years! None of our 7 grandchildren is old enough to remember a time that they did not come to the Lodge for a week of summer fun with the whole family. We have had as many as 24 people stay for all or part of the week.
The listing description of the Lodge and its facilities is accurate. The property is always thoroughly cleaned and prepared immediately before our arrival; each year it feels like we are returning home. Not only is the property well-maintained, but over the years the owner has invested a considerable amount in improvements to the Lodge itself and the grounds around it.
We have the Lodge completely to ourselves during our week, but there is a caretaker within easy reach by cell phone who can handle any questions or needs that may arise. This service has been very reliable over the years.
Although the family spends most of the week at the Lodge and at its beach on Hinchings Pond, there are other off-site activities that we enjoy as well. These include golf at the Brantingham Golf Club, swimming and water sliding at a nearby water flume and hiking on many of the nearby trails. Regarding restaurants, the commercial kitchen at the Lodge is so well equipped that we have never felt the need to go out for dinner.
We would absolutely recommend Otter Creek Lodge to friends, relatives or anyone who wants to enjoy a perfect family or group getaway.

This was our 9th year at Otter Creek, and it couldn't be more perfect for our family reunion. There is plenty to do for all ages. The house is always clean and ready for us upon arrival, and the setting is absolutely ideal. We take walks, swim, just sit and read, play our version of Lake Ball (which among the 30 year olds can get quite competitive) catch up and enjoy our time together. The one thing to be aware of is if you have somebody that has mobility constraints. The main floor bedrooms do not have attached baths. My 93 year old father is still coming, and thank goodness, still able to get up and down the stairs to a room where he has easy access to a bathroom. We are ALL looking forward to our 10th year at Otter Creek in 2019.

Ottercreek Lodge has become a yearly retreat for our company and their families. It's a beautiful place to step back, relax and enjoy. Property is gorgeous and always well maintained and ready for a party, I highly recommend it for any large gathering.

This was our 4th stay at OCL. We just love the place. The property is well maintained and beautifully furnished. It boasts all the amenities necessary to build and nurture strong family ties. All 19 of us, from youngsters through us grandparents and from as far away as Colorado and Texas found the lodge a perfect respite and wonderful place to reconnect and enjoy one another in a serene and scenic setting. This was the 8th year having our family reunion at Otter Creek. We usually have about 25 people, ranging in age from 3 to 92 and we all love it! Wonderful spots both indoors and out to read, play water and lawn games, chat, eat and gather. The setting is so peaceful, the beautiful patio, large deck, sitting room with bar and plenty of spots to sit and play card/board games, and do puzzles. We all love the beach, playing what we call "lakeball", swimming across the lake, taking a morning kayak or canoe ride with the loons. I can not say how relaxing and enjoyable Otter Creek has been every year!
