Get back to nature

Chateau Bond is a great location for you and your family to get back to nature. The downstairs of the house is ideal for kids, while the upstairs is perfect for adults. The fireplace is a wonderful feature, to warm you up after those long hikes in the nearby Elm Ridge Wild Forest. Deer, chipmunks, rabbits and squirrels romp around and drink from the tiny stream in back of the cabin. And the town and everything in it is located on nearby Rt. 23. Truly a great location for nearby skiing and getting back to nature.

Wedding getaway

4 miles from venue. Windham right down the road. Good trails for hiking with dogs. House was spacious and clean. Will rent again.

Great Time!

Our overall experience at Chateau Bond was great! It was cozy! The location was peaceful and centrally located for the things we wanted to do and the house had everything we needed!

Sarah was a fantastic host! She responded immediately when there was an issue we encountered and, in my opinion, went above and beyond!

Best place

The house is so cozy and Sarah was so helpful, we had a problem with the internet (even tho there was instructionS on the fridge door ) she was so kind Directing us.
I can’t wait to come back, there are a lot of hiking trails and my friends and I had a amazing time !

Pretty View

We had a nice time staying at this property. The view from the back porch was lovely and made it feel like we were deep in the woods. The location was close to many hiking trails. We were less impressed with the cleanliness of the home and had some issues with the WiFi.

Clean, Charming house in the Hudson Valley

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sarah and Steve’s home. Foremost, the house was extremely cozy and well appointed. We love to cook and they have a beautiful gas grill and lots of pots/pans/kitchen tools. The main bedroom has a great King Sized bed and lots of drawers. BOTH living rooms are really comfortable and we loved making fires in the fireplace. If you have a ton of devices, the internet can be a bit slow. Luckily, they have a landline phone in the home so if you don’t get great cell service, you can use their home phone. Overall, we loved our stay and we’ll be eager to return.

A wonderful oasis

We had such a pleasant stay! The home was clean, sunny and situated on a beautiful property. The deck was a lovely place to sit with the dogs and enjoy nature! Sarah was such a pleasure. Her communication was amazing and sincere. We hope to stay here in the future!

A great place!

Lovely place to stay in the Windham area made even better by Sarah our host. We went in the fall and enjoyed the fall leaves and colors, but it's also very close to skiing and I could imagine coming back in the winter!

Relaxing and beautiful!

We had such a wonderful stay! We truly enjoyed the back spacious deck facing the woods! The location was great for my family - private and quiet, but not too secluded as there were neighbors on the block. Kitchen was very well stocked and organized. Thank you for being extremely accomodating with anything we needed!
