Rick's house is an incredible find - it is so artistic and elegant and Rick goes out of his way to make us feel at home. The house is exactly the way it is listed. We have stayed here before. We are an out of town church group who come to New York. Usually when we have an issue with needing more space we call rick. We had ten people this time and have had up to twenty and we were extremely comfortable. He has enough bedding and towels. The areobeds are fabulous. The house is so clean. It is also an old house that clearly has wonderful homy feeling. Every one needs is.there. I love this house.

Rick sounds like a really nice person.

It was really great of him to allow our dogs to stay with us at last minute notice. He was always quick to call back on any query.

The house was very close to public transport, great restaurants and convenience stores. The neighbourhood was super walkable.

However, although the bathroom and bedding was clean, the house in general was in serious need of a deep clean, especially the carpets. So many broken couches and chairs and in a house that has 5 bedrooms... we had to go buy our own wine glasses as there were only 2, each of different shape and size.

The beds where in a very bad condition, ranging from wobbly to just plain blowup mattresses.

No attempt was made to allow for guests to have some place to hang their own clothing. All the cupboards and drawers were filled with the owners personal items. I have no problem with personal items as this sometimes adds to the feel of an Abnb but I am also paying for the privilege to have some space for myself.

This was my first Air BnB stay so I decided to only judge after I have stayed in a few others. I have stayed in 4 others since and this is my comment.

I am sure Rick will take great care to rectify the serious but solvable issues.

I have now rectified these issues. I am confused. My last 50 reviews were five stars. But I did just have the house deep cleaned
