Super September Week!

We've rented the camp now for 6 years (always the same early September week) and the weather was fantastic!! The place was as clean and comfortable as ever. We had friends down on different days and had plenty of room to offer them an overnight stay and on the one overcast day we joined my brother-in-law for some golf at the beautiful local 9-hole course. The view from inside with all the new windows is just stunning! The lake was perfect with the mooring for our boat and kayaks at our disposal. The week truly was one of the best we've ever had and have already booked for next year! We love it!!!

TRADITION

We've been coming to Willsboro since the early 60's; with many of our friends and family still calling Willsboro Point their summer home. Randy & Bobbi are fantastic hosts; their camp has some of the best views on the point. Dock and mooring available for all your toys. Lake frontage is pristine!!! It's a fisherman's paradise, with monster smallmouth / largemouth hitting on crankbaits!
At days end, a cocktail or two on the porch? Or maybe dinner at IBM? Sunsets are amazing!!! And don't forget Ethel's.... 'Michigans' are a must!
Thanks for another great visit, it's the best 2 weeks of our year.
Best to all; until next year.

Thanks For A Great Vacation

This was our families' first visit to Lake Champlain and it won't be our last. This camp is spotlessly clean, well maintained and contains everything needed for a great vacation. The location, above all else is simply amazing. great for swimming, boating, campfires, star gazing and just relaxing. The thing that puts it over the top however, is the personal care and concern shown by Bobbi and Randy and their family. Thanks again for a wonderful time.

Family Retreat for Plattsburgh Graduation

We anticipated renting a cottage for the week and instead got a well maintained, clean home right on the lake. The location is second to none. The views are surreal. We would take the row boat out and could see the bottom of the lake a good 20 feet down. I have never seen anything like it. The trip to Plattsburgh is less than 40 minutes. It is about an hour to Lake Placid and an hour with a Ferry Ride which is always fun to Burlington. The home itself was spotless. The bedrooms all have queen size beds, which is nice with 3 sets of couples (no couple gets the twin beds room). The living space is open with plenty of seating around the tv, with a huge table in the kitchen. We had great weather and spent most of our time outside at the picnic tables for our meals. The owners are the most gracious hosts and are so eager and willing to help in anyway they can. They are nearby for your convenience but not overbearing. They are so kind I can't say enough about them. The process for renting was so easy from beginning to end. The attention to detail they pay to their renters and how they want you to feel as if it is your own home is priceless. We went up for a College Graduation and needed a place for a week. What we left with is a place we all want to return to year in and year out.

Terrific place to vacation

My family just experienced a fabulous two weeks stay at the camp. We had 6 adults, a toddler and an infant and everyone was very comfortable. The owners are extremely friendly and do whatever they can to make a stay pleasant. They are pet friendly (literally), accommodating, and provide all the “little” extras that make a visit easy and special. The kitchen was well equipped with basics (pots, pans, silverware, plates) and extras (blender, food processor, two refrigerators). The washer / dryer help with a longer stay and young children. Outside you are right on the water with good boat facilities, a row boat, a large dock, a gas grill, a “fire ring” and comfortable seating for relaxation or enjoying the scenery. The location is close to many off lake activities (golf, Lake Placid, Ausable Chasm). We definitely recommend the camp and plan to return.

Paradise at Lake Champlain

My husband and I took our two grandchildren, 11 and 13, on vacation, and a wonderful memory was created. The home was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. Its location in a well protected cove was ideal. The owners, Barbara Payee and Doug Young, were friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. Days were spent fishing, boating, tubing, and swimming. Evenings were for barbecues and toasting smores in their firepit. We took our 17' boat to Burlington, Vermont, which was 15 minutes away. Another day, we drove our grandchildren to Quebec, Canada, which was about a half hour away. We would highly recommend this scenic retreat to everyone.

Home Away From Home

We stayed at the camp in June of 2014. We were greeted with a warm welcome. The camp is very cozy and has everything you need. The owners went above and beyond to try and help with my disabled mom to make sure she had everything she needed. Town of Wilsboro is quaint, went for a walk everyday, so peaceful. We give it a thumbs up!

Amazing!

We stayed at the camp last week 6-14 to 6-21 and has an amazing week. The owners were just incredible to work with. They greeted us upon our arrival and were there when ever we had a question. It was so nice to find an affordable place that allowed us to bring our dog. He had the time of his life. We even caught a huge fish. If you want a family friendly place with warm and welcoming owners this is the place for you!
