What a joy and privilege it has been to be the first guests at Island View 2! We loved our stay here and all the wonderful touches you have included in this rustic Adirondack apartment. It is obvious that you have put your heart and soul into it.

My husband and I came to Hague for a wedding, and Sandy’s Island View apartment was perfect. Very convenient location within walking distance of the Trout House, where other wedding guests were staying. The apartment comes with a lakeside patio just a short walk away to the lake side of the house. We enjoyed relaxing here in between wedding festivities. Sandy has thought of everything anyone would need for a short stay in Hague. She is great with providing all the information needed for traveling to and staying in Hague. She checked in on us during our stay to see if we needed anything. We are already thinking of coming back to Hague and staying in the lakeside of the building. The views of Lake George are so beautiful.

We loved our first visit to Hague, and Sandy and Bruce’s Island View 2 apartment was the perfect place to stay for a few days and explore the area. The apartment had everything we needed for sleeping, cooking, and relaxing. Even though the apartment does not have a lake view, we just had to walk across the parking area to a private patio that literally hangs over the lake. The sunrises and moonrises were amazing. We liked being able to walk to explore the town beach, the really cool little general store, and the pretty waterfall. Sandy and Bruce are very friendly and always available with suggestions and to answer questions. We really liked that they communicated everything we needed to know prior to our stay. We will definitely consider coming back to explore more of the area.

Very comfortable, really cool bedroom and very clean. They had a nice kitchen set up with all the utensils I need to cook with. The deck is around the corner of the apartment takes seconds to get there. I will probably go back with family next time. Again, I absolutely loved everything about Lake George and staying in this apartment made it even more special.
The host Sandra and her husband Bruce were also very nice!

My husband & I really enjoyed our first stay at Island View 2. We've stayed at other places, but, for us Island View 2 was perfect. They way the apartment was decorated made me feel like I was living in a country store. Plenty of storage & sleeping space, made from shelving units. These shelving units also helped to cut down the traffic noise when sleeping. No stairs to climb, the entire apartment was on one floor. We had our own patio right on the lake, where we could relax after a wonderful day of swimming, sight seeing or doing nothing. The apartment is within walking distance to a beach area, Hague Market and casual dinning places. The owners even found time in their busy schedules to come to our little patio to have munchies with us as we watched the beautiful sunset show over the mountains across the lake. So many historic & educational places, like Fort Ti , for all ages to learn about the fight for freedom. Bolton Landing & Lake George Village have terrific shops where one could find that perfect memento or eatery, there are even things for the kids to do while parents shop. We liked our first stay so much, that we are going back again & again & again. Beautiful, scenic & private - one of a kind place to stay.

My husband and I stayed with our 6-month-old son in this awesome apartment. It was right on Lake George with a beautiful private deck. It was perfect with an infant but once kids start walking it would probably be hard to baby-proof... Too many cool antiques to move! You can also take a short walk (less than 5 min) into the tiny town to the public beach, restaurants & bars, and market. My family has been staying at various places in Lake George for 15+ years and it is unusual to find a lakeside property that is in walking distance to amenities in town so this was a big plus. The apartment is quiet and comfortable with a great kitchen. The only downsides were that there is a little road noise (didn't bother us at all) and no direct lake view from the apartment, but there is the beautiful deck. A great find! Sandra and Bruce were very hospitable. We hope to return!

Excellent, rustic unit with beautiful lakeside patio adjacent. Location worked great for us and the surrounding area had enough activities for us all. Quiet and peaceful, but close enough to anything you might need just a short drive away. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly, perfectly laid back for a relaxing lake vacation. Definitely coming back for a longer stay next time!
