As the homeowner said in his listing, this house was designed for our group—three generations of family ranging in age from 2 to 70. Great house, location, town. We loved the nearby playground, public beach, and the kids loved the hot tub! It had everything we needed, including a new dishwasher and washer and dryer. Really just right!

A very nice house. Very big. Lots of BRs and bathrooms. Good location for IMLP (although a steep climb to get back at the end of a long day). Could use better TVs and more box fans as there is no AC. Overall a very good property and experience.

The checking was not as expected and therefore got low stars. The house itself is charming with lots of bedrooms. Most of the baths are updated one is not and could use updating. The windows did not all have screens so we could not open them to cool the house down in the evening. When there is no air conditioning that is a must!
The location of the house is excellent. We walked down the block to Main Street for breakfast and dinner. Overall a great house and location.

We had a lovely weekend at Hillcrest! The home was quite large, clean, cozy, charming, and a quick walk to Main Street. Extremely happy with our choice to stay there and would stay there again. Thank you!

Walk right up from Main Street to this large unique home. Several "spaces" to hang out in and during the cold a wood stove in the family room which was awesome. Owner let us in early since there was no renter before us which was very nice. Nice size kitchen and many supplies, large dining room table to serve on. Varied bedroom offerings on 3 floors. We were there right after a storm and the driveway and walkways were cleaned nicely. Forgot to use the garage during the storm but a nice perk and lots of room in the driveway for cars. First floor bathroom doors (2) don't both close/lock tightly. For 3rd floor bedrooms consider paint touch-up and bedding replacement. Possibly add a flat screen TV to the home. Overall loved our stay for 12 and would rent again.

I've stayed at this rental property multiple times, and there's a reason we keep coming back: You can't beat the proximity to Main Street and the value for your money. The house has ample common spaces and beds for hosting a medium- to large-sized group, and the jacuzzi is a wonderful place to relax after a long day enjoying the Adirondacks. The property is a short walk for Main Street, allowing you to get home without a car if you hit the restaurants and bars at night but far enough away so you don't get caught up in the bustle on a busy weekend.

The house desperately needs a flat screen tv; tube TV's DO NOT meet the minimum requirements for a premium rental. Please note that the "additional parking across the street" referenced in the listing is NOT part of the rental property and is posted " no trespassing". However, there is room for 5 cars on the driveway and garage.
