Very nice house right on Lake Ontario. The house was great, and the property managers provided lots of great information about the area. Rochester is less than an hour away, and is a great place for shopping or dining. The hosts were responsive and the place was well appointed. Wonderful Fall views and we would like to return in the Summer for some time ON the lake.

We enjoyed staying at this lovely house for the week. The view of the lake was amazing especially the sunrises and sunsets. The location was great for our daily road trips to Rochester, Ithaca and Letchworth Park and other spots. The neighborhood was quiet. The house is located on a dead end road. We took the dog for a walk each morning before got in the car to go exploring. The property owners were great to work with. We had one question while we were there and when we contacted the owner we received our answer. Prior to arrival any questions I had were answered. The house was clean and fully stocked with all that we could need Thank you for opening your house to others.

The atmosphere was great, beautiful views of the lake. Photos of the stairs to the lake are a little dated, lower deck area overgrown, steps and rails could use some support. Living room and family room were spacious. Main deck was wonderful. Plenty of chairs and a large table to eat outside. Road at the camp was quiet and and a nice place to walk. Landscaping was nice with lots of flowers. Independent AC for each bedroom was nice. Spectrum Cable TV with lots of channels with HBO, Cinemax and Showtime included. Overall a wonderful time was had by all.

It was okay. I would have rather been able to contact the owner before I rented as I used to be able to with VRBO. That us why I would use it rather than other rental services.

Guests and owners have one another's contact info as soon as you request a booking. That goes directly to the host without any payment from the guest. We've hosted through VRBO for 11 years and the 2 parties only get contact info after booking with payment through the VRBO website is made. (This has changed in the last few years) They also charge the guests a processing fee that averages $200/wk rental. Since the host has paid as well, the guest is much better off with NYRBO.
If you have specific recommendations to make our home more comfortable for travelers such as yourself, we would
appreciate your response! We may not be able to please everyone but we sure try!

Excellent Sodus Bay location. Quiet and relaxing location with gorgeous deck for enjoying the sunrise and sunset over the bay. Stayed at the property for a week. House is fully stocked with everything you need.

We can not say enough good things about this property. Last minute vacation plans and so thankful the owners are dog friendly. The house was very accommodating with loads of amenities. Beautiful view and great location. We did a day trip to Niagara Falls, hiking at Chimney Bluffs State Park (beautiful), wineries, Sodus Bay Beach and the list goes on. Great restaurants in the waterfront town too! The owners were very responsive to our needs and any questions were answered immediately. They went the extra mile to make sure our stay was as wonderful as possible.

We swam and kyacked all week. Went into town for ice cream too many times! We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return next year.
