The cabin was immaculate and finished in an Adirondack style. Everything was supplied. The boat docks were removed due to the season and the lack of rain at the time, but there was adequate access for a shallow-draft fishing boat such as mine. Distance is about an hour away from Schenectady or Saratoga Springs.

We had an amazing week. Tom and Cookie were so welcoming. The cabin is beautiful and spotless. You can easily see that they take pride in it. If you want a relaxing vacation right on the lake, this is the place for you.

What an incredible trip! Cookie and Tom were the perfect hosts and treated us like family. The cabin was beautifully decorated and spotless! Everything you needed was supplied for you from linens, towels, gas grill, kayaks, even a bar of soap! Phenominal location close to many different activities. The kids spent HOURS fishing, swimming from the floating dock, kayaking and sitting by the campfire. This is BY FAR one of our favorite family vacations!! Thanks again for EVERYTHING!!! The boys gave this vacation 5 STARS!!!

This is a beautiful, peaceful place to relax! The cottage really does have everything you need and more! Tom & Cookie are excellent hosts who go above & beyond to make your stay pleasant! We were lucky to hit the peak for fall leaves and became serious "leaf peepers" during our visit to Wells! The entire area, the cottage grounds and lake are stunning, I hope we will be able to return again. It is at the top of my list! Thanks Tom & Cookie!!

This place is surrounded by beauty! The tranquility provided a great place to unwind from the hassles of everyday life.
Our journey started late, so we arrived in the dark which was challenging to find it. There is a gravel patch designated for the car, but I didn't see it until the next day. Thankfully, the owners were kind enough to allow my car in their driveway for the night.
The interior was immediately inviting, and the bedroom very comfortable. Everything was so clean, I tried my best not to completely become a slob.
The kitchen provided a easy place to dine, tho I will say the toaster is a bit finicky. I'm pretty sure we had it on the lowest setting but it toasted things rather thoroughly. Also, there is an electric kettle for those who like to brew tea. We did not discover this until after we had unpacked our own.
The bathroom was plenty spacious, as well as the shower. The pocket door was brilliant, but be careful not to slide it all the way in. Might i suggest a handle for ease in opening?
The generous offer for use of the water activities was greatly appreciated, and the beach was a short walk away. Otherwise, be prepared to drive for excursions.
Overall it was an excellent time!

Beautiful home on a small and peaceful Adirondack lake! Recently updated with everything you could possibly need and extremely clean! We enjoyed the lake front and paddled to the beach right around the corner. You can walk into town and check out the coffee shop for breakfast and lunch. We truly enjoyed our stay and Tom and Cookie were excellent hosts!
