I Looked At Everything And Found The Best

I spent days combing through all the listings I could find on the internet looking for the perfect place and we found it at Camp Beaver Creek. If I were going to describe Camp Beaver Creek in a short phrase it would be: "perfect balance". It is the perfect balance of secluded and accessible. It is the perfect balance of rustic and luxury. It is the perfect balance of roomy and cozy. We loved including our two bulldogs on the trip and the built in kennel was amazing. The kitchen, ping pong and hot tub were incredible. The views are outstanding. Who ever gets the upstairs suite will open their eyes each morning to a panoramic view of Whiteface's peak. Speaking of the upstairs suite, its like having a $500 hotel room built onto the top of an already amazing rustic lodge. Cameron and Denise are gracious and great to work with as far as any questions you might have. Bottom line is Beaver Creek Camp delivers the goods and you will be glad you booked it and stayed there. I know we were blessed!

Whiteface Sun

Just had a great time. The rental was well stocked, clean and perfect for our get a way. We ran into some amazing weather which always helps. Owners were super accommodating with all our requests. Can't thank them enough.

Fun Trip but with a hiccup

Our trip was very enjoyable. The living spaces worked well and the house was spacious. We had only one issue (at the bottom)

——Heating ——
We personally used the indoor fire heating only once as we were worried about Carbon Monoxide poisoning and I do not believe there was an alarm in the house. The housing heating worked great for the negative weather we were in.

——Hot Tub and Sauna ——
The hot tub was enjoyable but the straps were difficult to use and it was very difficult to buckle down and keep from blowing away, we used it only once because of this. We did not use the Sauna because we did not know how to heat the system up.

——Kitchen——
Great space to cook with ample opportunities for charcoal cooking or gas. The gas grill is very small but it works. The charcoal is massive and takes a while to heat it up.

—— Beds ——
The beds were good, nothing special but they did the job.

——Issue——

On our last night the faulty fire-alarm went off at late while I was sleeping. Luckily others were awake and they opened the door and explained to the Fire department that everything was ok. Someone checked my phone (which was turned off) and noticed I had voicemails and texts from the owner that we’re slightly aggressive (understandably as I was asleep and unable to respond) but they were able to call back and explain the situation and the house was good. The next morning the fire alarm went off again, we were all awake and able to disarm it but this is an issue that needs to be fixed.

Great stay

Love the property, radiant heat kept us nice and cozy, the views from the property were spectacular, hot tub was great

Enjoyable stay!

We had a great stay at camp Beaver Creek! Very satisfied w/ the house, plenty of room to spread apart as well as come together! Hot tub was a hit after the cold days. House was clean & appliances all worked well. Nice kitchen too to allow us to eat in. Looking forward to coming back!!

Excelent property, would love to stay here again

Very quiet and a perfext place to get away and relax. Great view of whiteface and a short drive to placid. 100% satisfied!!

Excellent Location for Thanksgiving getaway

We really enjoyed the property. Listing was just as described. It was clean and well stocked with linens and kitchen staples. Hot tub and sauna were a perfect addition to our winter getaway. We had a few questions for the owners and they responded promptly and kindly. We would stay here again!

One of the two showers didn't work

The place was lovely but the "property manager" must have been a ghost. Never got a welcome email or any info except from the owner. There were a few defects that needed to be fixed, but the major
problem was the non functioning shower. We had to share a shower with another couple which is a bit unpleasant. I told the owner and he sent someone but they had to order a part. Also, when are we getting out $400 damage deposit back? Thank you

Alpine Adventure

We are a blended family with young adult children and this was our first vacation spent together. Beaver Creek Lodge was the perfect place to get the kids together for some family fun! Everyone loved the house, plenty of beds, blankets and towels. The grounds are amazing and it was a clear night so stargazing was spectacular. It is very close to Whiteface, which made our skiing excursion very convenient. A few miles away is Lake Placid Village with quaint shopping and the Olympic Ice Rink next to the outdoor ice rink.
The accommodations were extremely clean and stocked with plenty of household amenities to get you through a mountain getaway whether it be a weekend or a whole week. We all enjoyed our stay and would love to make it an annual trip. Thank you Denise and Cameron!
