Everything about this property was perfect for our group of seven friends seeking a break from the city. With the exception of a grocery/farm stand trip we never left the property. We enjoyed the pool, grounds, and the spacious , well equipped kitchen. We also used one of the two top of the line grill’s to cook. Fatima is a gracious and communicative host. The property itself is designed and decorated with thoughtful touches everywhere. Everyone in our group enjoyed the comfortable beds and lounging spaces. We are already talking about our next stay in this beautiful property.

During this time my family needed a well deserved get away. This house and the property owners did not disappoint. The house is beautiful and so cleaned. We enjoyed every single minute. We hope to be a repeat customer in the near future.

Positives: The pool and outside living space was just what our group needed during the COVID-19 pandemic. There are wonderful places to hike and swim in local lakes. The house is 11 minutes from Rhinebeck, which is a very cute town.
Negative: This house is advertised as accommodating 15 people. While it is true that there are beds for 15 people, we experienced sewage back up flooding in the shower and bathroom floor in the basement bathroom. Another similar circumstance occurred in the attic bathroom from the toilet bowl, rendering two bathrooms unusable during our 5 night stay. We were 14 people LEFT with one and a half bathrooms functioning.
We reached out to the owners about this issue and she said,
"Danielle, it's not that you have a lot of people it's that you guys have left and come back at the same time. So everyone goes to the bathroom and showers in a short period of time. The pipes can't handle that many people at once since this is not a commercial building. Our handyman Russ will not go in when people are there due to the virus. No sewage is coming up since we had septic tank serviced this year and its good for another 5 years....My husband went and put a 30 ft snake in drain and it was not clogged. Therefore, it is the fact that the system can't take all that water at the same time. Next time you might be better served going to a hotel not a private residence. I am sorry that you had such a hard time here but with everything that's going on in the world right now. don't let it bother you too much . Have a safe trip home."
Sadly, we did end up leaving a night early, as the plumbing issue just became too much with our group. The property is advertised as being able to accommodate 15 guests, however as you can see the owner readily admitted to us that the plumbing is not capable of handling 15 guests with regular usage.

Fatima maintains a welcoming house and beautiful grounds. She is very available over text message and responded to all of our questions and needs within a couple of hours. I would definitely come back for another low-key summer vacation!

A beautiful and fun property full of quirks and charm. We did a weekend getaway with a group of friends but I can see the property being great for groups of all types and ages. Plenty of beds and bathrooms and various areas to lounge. Tons of great outdoor space. You really never need to leave the property if you bring all your food and drink with you. We absolutely loved hanging by the pool and the cabana is so perfect, even when it rained we could still sit outside. Don’t miss this property!

Our group of friends from NYC really enjoyed staying at this secluded home in the middle of the summer, with no neighbors in sight. The pool was a fantastic perk that we enjoyed daily and the outdoor grill with a huge seating area was perfect for evening meals. The owners are next door and were always available to resolve any minor issues promptly. They even purchased a new coffee machine for us.
The location is close to Hudson, Rhinebeck and many local attractions such as wineries, hiking, waterfalls etc. We would definitely return here for another group vacation! Minor improvements can be made to the home such as adding more outdoor lighting and A/C units in downstairs bedrooms, but that in no way would deter us from renting this place again. This home was the PERFECT spot for a weekend away from the city. It is surrounded by nature but full of all the creature comforts one needs, including Alexa speaker/AC/washer/dryer/dishwasher, an amazing pool with deck chairs and cabana, a gas grill, and a huge outdoor table, where you and your family/friends can all gather and share a meal under the stars. The house is three floors with one bedroom and full bathroom (tub only) on the top floor, two bedrooms and a full bathroom on the ground/first floor, and two bedrooms and a full bathroom on basement floor. We slept 15 people in the house. Owner was very responsive via HomeAway message and text message, bringing us additional toilet paper and dish soap during our stay. Thank you!
