We had a lovely time with our large group of family at Ebs View Lodge. We were able to just sit and be together. The view was amazing, everybody had space, the kitchen had everything we needed for large family meals. It was a wonderful place! Thanks Gene for all your help and information along the way!

The house is quite large and filled our needs. After having 17 adults stay in the house, I realize that it sleeps 23 if there are children involved, 17 was pretty much the max for adults, in my opinion. The road/driveway was a pain. It’s narrow in spots and I unfortunately got stuck having to back down the very steep, narrow first part because people staying in a different house wouldn’t budge. This was scary. In total, we had to back up for other cars four times during our week stay.
We cooked several large dinners for 20-23 adults and the kitchen is well equipped and spacious. There’s plenty of space for parking a bunch of cars, this is great since we had about 9 cars!
Overall, a really great experience!

Our family had a fantastic time at the house, more than enough room for 8 adults and 5 kids. Not far from grocery stores. We did hope for some more air conditioning as it was 95 degrees when we were there but we would all highly recommend the house

Tucked in the woods of Jay - this was a great stay for us. Extremely quiet! The back porch has a terrific view of some rock faced mountains. The house itself is amazing. The living room is wide open with a tremendous amount of seating. The sauna was a bonus - super easy to use. Having everything fully stocked when you arrive is priceless (from spices, to pots & pans, to linens, and toiletries). Not having to pack all that is huge! Would come again!

The house was gorgeous! We were a large group with who-knows-how-many-kids and there was enough space for all. We had big meals and there were no issues even with the number of coffee mugs, plates, utensils. etc. We've gone on these getaways many times but we've never seen such a well equipped house. They had everything there!
Gene, the owner, was simply a pleasure to deal with. Super responsive and helpful.
The house is perfectly situated (in the woods) and is a good 30 min drive from a number of great activities (for families). I can't wait to go back!

This was my second year in a row staying at this house and it was another good vacation. A new bedroom was added which makes the house even better for large groups. We also found out about another good feature of the property...the generator. A wind storm knocked out power Friday night and the generator kept us going through the weekend. The owner Gene made the rental experience easy again.

We rented this home for a family reunion for my dad's 70th birthday. The house is very well kept and in such a beautiful area. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend Gene and any of his properties to anyone looking for a nice Adirondack getaway.
