Denise's guest home is perfect for anyone looking for a fall getaway

Denise's guest home is perfect for anyone looking for a fall getaway in the Hudson Valley. The space is clean and comfortable, and features an incredible view of the river; we loved starting our mornings with that view! She has a beautiful big yard with a hammock and riverside chairs, perfect for evening lounging, and Denise will also offer to build a fire for you too!

We found the location to be excellent for our needs. Generally, we were only a 30 minute drive from everything we wanted to do, whether it was visiting Hudson, going for a hike, or visiting local breweries and distilleries. We thoroughly recommend staying at Denise's if you're headed to upstate NY!

Thank you so much for the nice review! Glad you enjoyed your stay! Stay safe and well also!

Small but comfortable place w soothing river view;

Small but comfortable place w soothing river view; lovely, expansive grounds. serene and refreshingly quiet (no car/traffic noise...only sounds of nature). Denise is a sweetheart: responsive and accommodating (even started a fire for us (and provided S'more ingredients) in the outdoor fire pit just off the deck and veranda. Tho only microwave and small fridge, plenty places to eat within 10 min drive. Personally, we loved pizza from Paul's Pizzeria. Highly recommend Denise's place and idyllic setting

I cant even begin to say what an amazing place and stay this was!!!

I cant even begin to say what an amazing place and stay this was!!! Five stars is too little to give. I personally feel the pictures don't do this place justice. We had serene, peaceful full moon bonfires every night, I got to practice my archery every day, and got to wake up to the most beautiful view of the Hudson. The place was spotless, comfortable and has absolutely everything you need for a getaway from the world. It's missing a full kitchen, but that was not even a big deal. There is a fully stocked supermarket about a 5 minute drive away where my friend and I got general snack provisions including those egg cups that you can microwave; so we had eggs, toast, fruit, etc and were able to make wonderful yummy breakfast food anyhow. Right across from the supermarket is a fully stocked liquor store as well to complete your menu with mimosas or whatever else your heart desires. We did check out this little italian place a couple of minutes from the property for dinner one evening and it was AWESOME. We highly recommend it. For those who are into it, about 30 mins away is a horseback riding ranch were we spent our Saturday afternoon taking in the rest of nature as a random activity. We didn't take advantage of the boating and kayaking, but there is availability for those who are interested, or you can also bring your own and take on the hudson :). Denise herself was a wonderful host. She was super hospitable, answered any questions/texts quickly, and was just a pleasure to meet. Honeslty, I can't wait to come back to this idyllic place. Hopefully soon!!!

We just left ... and are still reaping the cathartic experience and benefits of staying

We just left ... and are still reaping the cathartic experience and benefits of staying at the Eagles Nest with Natalie, Simon & Lily (Chocolate brown lab and kitties!).
The place is a hidden gem, gorgeously situated along the banks of the Hudson River, and few images can really do it justice-frankly.
Denise - the animals mother & phenomenal host, bent over backwards to make our stay memorable and utterly dreamy. You decide, from morning sunrises, to dusky restful scenic evenings, this place is magical.
The private apartment with the two comfortable and fastidiously clean rooms, to the well placed lounge overlooking an unrealistically beautiful panoramic view- it’s hard to say what was nicer;
Evening barbecuing, s’mores and snores ( it’s sublime - so drifting off to sleep was just too easy) -over a glowing glittering fire pit, guests are just spoilt for choice.
Not to mention the short stroll to what seemed like a movie set Town, resplendent in red brick, gorgeously preserved buildings, including restaurants, cafes and a wine store.
Already re booking.
Thankful that this place is on Airbnb.
Thanks to Denise & Co for the most serene, restful experience imagined.

This is a true gem. On the Hudson River, gorgeous location, and very large comfortable two bedroom apartment in a park like setting. Great for families and couples.

Our stay in Coxsackie

My husband and I were relocating to the area and looking to buy a home . We stayed at Denise's while searching and it was wonderful . The place is cozy, bright, and airy with a view to die for along with being just outside of the quaint river village of Coxsackie . I only wish that we could have been here during the summer months

Denise is a great host, very warm and welcoming.

Denise is a great host, very warm and welcoming. Her place was truly sparkling clean and exactly as advertised. Coxsackie is a cute town and her place is walking distance to it. Best of all was the park like setting and beautiful pool. It would make a great launching pad to the area in the fall as well.
