Great house for a family getaway

This was the perfect place for a multi family vacation. The layout of the house was great for our party of 6 to spread out and be comfortable without feeling suffocated and on top of each other. The kitchen was great and well stocked with dishes, pans and gadgets as we cooked a lot during our stay. The location was great with several spots to hike nearby. The hot tub was amazing at the end of the day after walking and hiking. Overall a great place and would definitely stay here again.

Annual family Adirondack reunion

The house was spacious, well appointed and inviting. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 kids. 9 and 11 year old boys loved sleeping in the man cave playroom

Perfect Place for Family

My family and I enjoyed staying at this beautiful property. Perfect place to enjoy the Adirondacks and spend time with your family. The house is immaculate and has just right the finishes to make your stay both comfortable and relaxing. My family and I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful home

This was a beautiful home in a great location. Hot tub and fire pit were awesome amenities. Large yard for kids to run around in. Close enough to attractions in Lake Placid. Nearby river swimming hole. Property manager responded quickly to questions. Nearby to fishing spots. Beautiful place to stay.

Perfect for relaxation

We had a great stay! Plenty of room for us all to spread out and relax! The hot tub was great always ready to go! Games downstairs were fun, neighbors, not not close enough to matter! And close enough to do all sorts of fun stuff on Whiteface Mtn, in Lake Placid, Saranac, and even hit lake George one day for six flags! Great home base!

Off-season

Went off-season (end of April) for a long weekend getaway. Area is BEAUTIFUL. Bad weather did not hinder our stay. House was clean and very accommodating. Self-sufficient in that we could do lots right at the house. Spacious so we were not in each other's face (8 people). Could only imagine what summer/winter would be like. Owner was great.

Great home!

This is our second time renting from Gene and he didn't disappoint! The house was immaculate when we arrived. Beautiful layout and deisgn! It was 3 couples and 3 kids aged 7-9. We all enjoyed the gameroom downstairs!! Very quiet neighborhood. Stoked well with toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap and cleaning supplies/dish detergent. We would definatley come back!

Exactly what we were looking for!

Having never done VRBO before there was a level of apprehension, which were quelled by Gene’s fast and amazing responses (also: patience!). The house itself was perfect - clean (my son commented on how neat it was! He’s 8, so his room is a bit of mess!). Everything was great and we felt at home. Loved the fireplace, hot tub, lighting, temperature controls (we like to sleep in a cool room), appliances etc. Perfect distance for the boys to go skiing at Whiteface. Would (and will) ABSOLUTELY go again.
