This house has everything you could need and more! In a perfect location for many activities. We did a lot of hiking and this was a great spot as home base :)
Very small town which is exactly what we were looking for to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Seems like the lake would be awesome in the summer too!

The home and location were beautiful. The house was well kept and updated and the views of the lake were awesome. Plenty of trails to visit, i recommend tenant creek falls. Looking foreward to coming back.

My children, boyfriend and his mother and I recently stayed for a few nights and had a wonderful time despite the cooler weather. For an extra fee we were provided wood for the campfire and we saw some lovely creatures: an otter and a Loon! The lake was like glass and extremely peaceful. I would go again in the summer so we can truly enjoy the lake! Deb got back to me with anything we needed and was more than willing to help out as well. We had a lovely time and I recommend this as a lovely getaway!

This was our first VRBO when we retired nearly 5 years ago and we found it to be our favorite during our first 5 years of retirement. So we went back for another stay. We have stayed in 4 to 6 VRBO per year and Northern Exposure once again comes out on top. The home is immaculate and comfortable, the lake view is great, and the location ideal. We loved day tripping to Lake George, Saratoga Springs, Indian Lake, and Adirondacks Experience. Debby and Mark are immediately responsive if you have any needs. Indeed, Northern Exposure is our favorite VRBO.

Our family experienced a wonderful month at Northern Exposure this summer. This lakeside home is well appointed with many extras - puzzles, videos, games. We enjoyed the many amenities including the air conditioning. Lots to do in the area. Debbie and Mark were attentive hosts. Highly recommended.

We have stayed in many vacation homes and found this one to be particularly clean and well-maintained! All the furniture was comfortable, the owners were very attentive to our needs, and we had a lovely, relaxing time. We enjoyed sitting by the quiet lake and took advantage of the firepit. The screened porch was a wonderful place to eat meals and slowly enjoy a cup of coffee.

Stayed on the hottest week of summer. The air-conditioning saved me from going home and of course the lake. Saw the best fireworks directly across the lake from the camp. Has everything you need.

Loved every minute we spent at this beautiful, clean and pet friendly home! Thankfully the weather was perfect so we spent the majority of our time outside. Our son from VT met us there to spend the week with us. My husband brought his Hobie Kayak and spent many hours daily fishing from it. He absolutely loved his week of fishing here! He caught many types and sizes of fish and trust me I have the pictures he sent me to prove it ha....He also spotted many critters and birds while out on the water including what turned out to be a green heron. Thanks Mark and Debbie for the book of NY Birds left at the home, from the pic his dad sent us our son used the book to research and decipher what type of bird it was. We hiked Auger Falls and Echo Cliff on Panther Mountain, ate at Speculator Inn and found by mistake Jay's Village Pizzeria in Northville. (The garlic knots and pizza were great!) The Well right in town is awesome spot also, great coffee, muffins, sandwiches etc. Mostly we enjoyed our time just sitting and relaxing by the water during the day and by the firepit each night. Loved watching the hummingbirds and the many other birds, butterflies and critters that would visit us. The home was perfect, clean, bright and with gorgeous views of the lake. Our Goldendoodle Lucy enjoyed sniffing every hole in the rock retaining wall down by the dock, looking for chippies or whatever else she might find. Having the fenced yard was perfect for her as she is not an off leash dog with that nose ha. Debbie and Mark checked to make sure we were fine and any questions we had were answered within minutes. Thanks Debbie for the cookies and dog treats! Only thing I could have wished for was a little spot to walk on the waters edge for Lucy and I but even without it we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. We were all sad to leave this beautiful home on Lake Algonquin.

Quiet and relaxing area. The house is very well appointed. There is a small dock just steps from the back porch. We had a very enjoyable time.
