The property was great - Newly renovated with just about everything provided that you can imagine. And Diane is a wonderful host! Would recommend for anyone looking for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Our stay at the Hadlock Pond cottage was perfect! The cottage is adorable, modern, clean, quiet and wonderful with everything you need. We were a group of 5 mid-20s girls doing a getaway and it was perfect. We like to have a good time, but knew to be respectful of the quiet surroundings - so be sure to keep that in mind if you're a group of young adults :) The dock area is so nice for lounging, grilling, eating outdoors and going out on the lake. Diane is responsive, helpful and kind. She looked after us but completely let us have the space. She makes sure you have everything you need and is available if you need her. Definitely recommend for any kind of vacation - it was wonderful!

We came to upstate NY from Alaska to visit family, and spent two days at this beautiful property. Everything you could need or want was provided. Weather was beautiful, cottage was perfect, and the lake is clean. Our family had a wonderful visit that ended too soon. We are now inspired to have a lake house of our own in the Adirondacks!

The property has a really nice dock right on the lake. The lake is awesome and they have great fishing. The cottage was amazing and really nice inside. You have plenty of privacy and it's really relaxing and the owner is very accommodating and really nice.

We loved staying at Hadlock Haven! The property was full of amenities, such as a canoe, kayak, paddle board, which made our weekend so much fun. Diane was very helpful and had everything we needed for our stay. Great retreat!

The owners could not have be nicer, made sure we had everything we needed. It was very clean and the outside areas were perfectly manicured. We like that the lake wasn't filled with people/boats all the time, it was nice to see a few just go by. We will have to come back when the water is warmer we would definitely take a swim! Having the hot tub right there next to the lake was a really nice feature, we cooled it down so our son could play in it...it was perfect! We brought our small dog and he loved it as well. All in all a great time for our little family!

Thank you Diane for making our anniversary trip so wonderful. The cottage is just what we needed. Peaceful, cozy and quiet. The lake views were always calming and having breakfast by the water was perfect. (A bit more sunshine would have been nice, but we can't order the weather) Hope to see you again soon.

You can tell from the pictures that the property and location are great, but we assume they are shot at the best angles hiding the flaws. There are no flaws that we found. The property is amazing from the beautifully manicured grounds, to the impeccable cottage. If you ever want to see what it's like to live in a small home, this is your chance. Everything is laid out perfectly with everything you need and organized like a home away from home. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and make you feel special. We brought our dogs and they had so much fun at the lake. One of them even went for a swim, which was amazing since there was still some ice on the lake the day before! We were blessed with great weather, but with all of the games, TV, and wi-fi, we would have had fun even if we couldn't enjoy the outdoors. We are in love with the cottage and the lake and are very sad that we couldn't stay longer due to work. Thank you for an amazing vacation!

The cottage was recently renovated so everything was clean and very comfortable. The owner does an excellent job taking care of her guests. The area is beautiful, regardless of the time of year. You will be very happy in this cottage, I know I will be back soon. Highly recommended place to stay - I would recommend this cottage to my relatives.
