Judith and Ron were supper hosts. We've been to many Air B&B properties and we've had some great hosts, but these two we're the best we've had.
The property was amazing! Super clean, they'd thought of everything (down to 4 size options for the robes). They fully stocked the kitchen with everything you could hope for, fresh amazing baked goods (Judith could run a bakery no doubt!), fresh fruit, all of the breads and dairy you might need. We brought our own meats, and adult beverages and we set for the week.
The porch and (brand new) hot tub overlooking the creek were amazing! The creek itself is stunning, and the sound is fantastic.
The hiking (all on their own property along the creek) was fantastic. If you're looking for more than a couple hours worth keep in mind that the property is at the Southern edge of the Adirondack Park, and it's an easy day trip to the North Country.
We look forward to visiting again this Spring.

We had such an amazing time at Judith and Ron’s cottage. The photos do not do it justice. The house is located along the cliffside of an incredible gorge. Due to the recent snowmelt, the water was gushing down the creek. No sound machine necessary! We loved the small touches, from the extensive DVD collection, the incredible decor, to the fully STOCKED fridge and homemade baked goods.

Judith even baked my fiancée a delicious cake for her birthday. A completely unexpected gesture and the kind of hospitality that has become a dying art in the BnB community.

In addition to the interior, which was spotless by the way, the spa-style hot tub on the patio was very clean and a highlight of our weekend. We appreciated all the exterior lighting which ran on timers and allowed us to enjoy the outdoor space throughout the night.

For those looking to disconnect, there are a ton of games, cards, and even a bumper pool table to enjoy. You could easily spend a week here and never even look at a phone or computer.

The surrounding area has some quite beautiful hiking trails and towns, specifically Little Falls, which we loved. We went to dinner on Friday night at the Canal Side Inn at Judith’s recommendation, and couldn’t have had a better meal.

This is the place to book. If you want to spend a weekend in a unique and charming location, with almost every amenity you could want, hosted by true professionals who make you feel like family, this is it. By the way, Judith & Ron were excellent communicators, but never felt overbearing and our privacy was respected the entire time.

We definitely will be back.

Everything met and exceeded our expectations. Judith greeted us as soon as we arrived to show us around and went room by room to show us where everything is. She had baked goods waiting for us and even had pre stocked food. The hot tub was perfect, the game room was great, and the rest of the house was super comfortable. There were instructions for everything and she even had restaurant recommendations for us.

The place was amazing! Everything was fantastic! There were so many amenities(lots of food, movies, books, etc.) and the view was beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend.

This was an excellent house for a quiet weekend getaway, I wish we could have stayed for a few days longer! Judith is very good with communication - we were greeted when we arrived, and shown around the house. There is a lot of entertainment in the house, including an extensive DVD collection, a game room, books and magazines. The hosts also included some kitchen staples (mostly breakfast items and snacks), and had homemade baked goods for us. This is a lovely house for a couple or two couples to stay at. We would love to come back sometime.

Our experience at the CliffSide Cottage was wonderful! Before arriving, Judith was very responsive and answered any questions that we had. We were greeted with multiple delicious, dietary-restriction friendly homemade baked goods, and couldn't have imagined a warmer welcome. Judith was incredibly helpful when anything came up during our stay. There were lots of little touches that made this stay above and beyond - soft robes, treats, games, etc. We absolutely loved the amenities, like the hot tub and the fireplace. Can't recommend this stay enough! Thank you!
