This is paradise on earth. The porch is addicting. You have a hard time leaving the relaxing view of the lake and the fresh air. There is plenty of room for everyone to gather together or have their own space. It is centrally located to so many wonderful adventures. Close to a store and town if you forgot anything. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Beds are comfortable and there’s plenty of them. It is perfectly decorated for the Adirondack experience. The kayaks are awesome to enjoy on the lake. Breathtaking morning sunrises. You feel at home as soon as you enter. Todd is an amazing host and very easy to communicate with. Amazing!!!

Great place for a large group! Kayaks and canoes were awesome. Having 3 bathrooms is a plus and the kitchen is small but updated very nicely! Everything was clean and comfortable. Very convenient to Aldis and other sights to see! Great time

The view is spectacular. I recommend Todd’s place for families and groups of friends.
Todd was an extremely helpful host, who gave quick responses and tips for places to go and things to do. The house itself was amazing. Eight of us stayed there with ease and comfort. The house has everything you need, access to the lake, close to town and plenty of space in the house and on the deck. The view is spectacular. I recommend Todd’s place for families and groups of friends.

It is a really spectacular place to stay.
From the very beginning of our booking, Todd was responsive and helpful. When we arrived at the house, we were blown away by it. It was more impressive than the pictures could ever provide. The kitchen was perfect. A really large refrigerator and a gas stove with four burners and a grill top. There were two tables for us to sit at. Games were provided, and there's even a piano! With two full bathrooms upstairs, and the half bath downstairs, there was plenty of space for all. The downs stairs bathroom is seasonal, and we were the first guests to stay with warmer weather. My father is six months post double knee replacement we were hoping to have use of the downstairs bathroom. Todd was so responsive to our needs, and walked me through turning the water on. Once we did that, we noticed the toilet had a crack in the tank and we had to shut the water back off. Instead of my Dad having to go up and down the stairs for a bathroom, Todd sent a plumber to us the next day! Within 18 hours, we had a working bathroom. We couldn't thank them enough. That is above hospitality, it was showing care and concern for us, and especially my Dad. The bedrooms were plenty - 5 of them, with a folding cot able to sleep 14 - comfortably! We were hoping for warmer weather, but that didn't happen. The heat is the house worked great, on all three floors. There is a big charcoal grill in the garage and a smaller one on the porch to use. He provides you with everything you need to have an incredible stay, all you need to do is bring family, friends and food! We were celebrating our son's graduation from Paul Smith's College (about 11 miles away), and it was the perfect place for our entire family to stay. The wrap around porch was a perfect place to watch the fire in the fire pit, or see the loons in Lake Colby. There is plenty of outdoor seating options. My son took one of the canoes out and went fishing a few times. It is a really spectacular place to stay.

Can't beat the view of the lake. The epitome of a cozy cabin getaway! Even though it rained for a good portion of our weekend stay, we still had a wonderful time!

We had an incredible stay at the Lake House this past weekend. The pictures don't do it justice! We had a large group of 12 and there was plenty of space; we even had enough beds for everyone. The property is on a dead end dirt road just outside of town on a lake which makes it secluded but not isolated if you need to run into town for anything. There are plenty of supplies for a weekend in the Adirondacks provided, including several canoes/kayaks and plenty of chairs for everyone. There's a small grill on the property but if you're feeding a group you may want to bring your own (we did). The fire pit is elevated above the lake with gravel which keeps it nice and dry, especially in the muddy season. There was some wood on side but we brought our own with us to be safe because we like a big fire. We did not use the indoor fireplace but it was very clean with wood provided by the host. The value for the price is unbeatable! Todd was an excellent and responsive host throughout planning and the trip itself. Overall I have to say we had the perfect stay and would not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone looking for some time away in the Adirondacks.
