Camp Pocomoonshine is a great secluded cabin right by Augur Lake. The cabin is extremely comfy and cozy, a great place to relax away from it all. There is no cell service and the internet is extremely slow, so I wouldn't recommend working while you're staying here, but it's a beautiful place to hunker down and kick back.

This is a very special place on a special lake. I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and Robin's place ranks very high. The lake is beautiful and quiet. The cabin was adorable, cozy and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was great. We kayaked, we paddle boarded. We puzzled. We day tripped to Ausable Chasm, High Falls Gorge and Lake Placid. Robin was very easy to communicate with. Note that you likely won't have cell service there but there is decent wifi and a landline. I am already fantasizing about our next trip back to Augur Lake!

This is a quintessential lake camp with all of the rustic amenities needed to enjoy your time away. There is a happy, family friendly feeling to the whole space. Check in and check out were easy, the owner is very responsive, and it is well stocked with linens and kitchen essentials. We did not want to leave this retreat!

Great experience! The camp is adorable. Everything is as described or better. I loved the variety of coffee pots (french press, espresso stove top pot, and drip). This was a nice surprise and treat. The eclectic selection of books was fun and we had a wonderful time. Very close access to the Northway, short drives to Plattsburgh and Willsboro. I can't say enough good things about this camp.

A beautiful retreat in a quiet setting. Lots of singing birds to hear early morning. Hot tub is an added bonus thar adds to your relaxing stay.

A surprise spring storm cut power to the cabin before we left and Robin was in constant contact to make sure we didn't arrive before it was restored. When we talked on the phone several times, it was clear that she was doing her very best to help us work out all the details in an uncertain situation.
The cabin is exactly as pictured, and we appreciated the fact that no wide angle lenses were used to suggest a space that is bigger than it really is. Robin's place was exactly what we needed to celebrate my birthday. Everything was beyond our expectations, especially the kitchen, which was more well-appointed and more well organized than any Airbnb we've ever rented. It even has a good garlic press! Kind touches such as this abound. The location is sublime, and between hot tub, the porch, the comfortable recliners, and the lake view, the place was perfect for some much needed relaxation.
Robin was warm, inviting, and helpful at every turn. Were it possible, we'd give this wonderful place a million stars.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Camp Pocomoonshine! A super cozy lakeside retreat with tons of rustic charm but all the modern amenities you could need. We loved spending our evenings having a soak in the hot tub, getting a fire going in the wood stove, and picking out a movie from the great selection available.
Close proximity to some gorgeous hikes, and a quick ferry ride across the water to Vermont. Robin offered terrific recommendations on activities and food & drink, and she was super accessible and responsive! We’d love to come back!

Lovely comfortable, clean home with a lovely view. Robin was responsive and kind.
Working from home is tough with frontier internet, but you should really be here to enjoy the fantastic lake, hiking, and outdoor activities the area provides.

Robin was extremely friendly and communicated all info needed for our stay. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and this was a second stay for one member of our group. I’m sure we’ll be back! Hot tub was amazing too!
