Perfect location.

This is our second time visiting Mike and Kathleen's lovely Inlet cottage. It is in a perfect location: easy walk into town and wonderful walking and biking trails from Fern Park just opposite. The home itself has everything you need - well-equipped kitchen, comfortable sitting area, linens and towels and a wonderful porch on which to sit and watch the world go by, after a long day's bike ride or hike. Thank you again, Mike and Kathleen and to repeat the visit next year

Love the ambiance. Can't wait to go back t

Great 4 bedroom (sleeps 8), 2 bathrooms , updated home snuggled in the hamlet of Inlet. Within walking distance of downtown with restaurants and cafes as well as gift and antique shops. Also accessible beach to go swimming in Fourth Lake or play tennis, or maybe go for hikes in the ADKs. You'll love the ambiance of the front porch as you sit in an Adirondack chair sipping your morning coffee, or roasting marshmallows around the fire pit in the evening. I can't wait to go back to Deer Watch

What a beautiful and comfortable home!

What a beautiful and comfortable home! The kitchen is very well appointed, and has everything needed to prepare meals. The large TV with surround-sound and Netflix in the living space was a great addition on rainy days. Mike and Kathleen even had a small Christmas tree set up which was a very cozy touch. I highly recommend this home if you’re looking to visit the Inlet area.

Second time and still a great experience

Mike and Kathleen are such great hosts! This was my second time staying at the Deer Watch Lodge and once again, it was a great experience. Mike was easy to reach to make sure everything went smoothly for our weekend away. The Lodge is beautiful, relaxing, and conveniently located near stores and parks. Can’t wait to visit again!

An excellent place for a relaxing weekend getaway.

Mike & Kathleen do a fantastic job. Great layout, great finishes, spotlessly clean, newly renovated with a great bathroom on the main floor, spacious kitchen, relaxing living area. It's an excellent place for a relaxing weekend getaway.

A perfect and relaxing place to stay

Mike and Kathleen’s home is beautifully decorated and perfect for relaxing. Located just a short walk away from shopping and the beach but off of the main stretch for less traffic. The front porch is absolutely amazing and the perfect spot to watch deer.

Perfect location, super clean, cozy

Hosted my first ever team retreat with 8 girls and we had a blast! Mike & Kathleen’s place is super clean, cozy, and good for families/friend groups! Everything was just like the photos and great for photo ops in the fall time! Right in the middle of Inlet and easy access to stores, restaurants, etc! Neighbors were friendly and it’s the perfect location!

The house in central to everything!

The house in central to everything! Hiking, grocery store and town are just minutes away! Once you step inside you feel right at home, sitting out on the front porch drinking coffee in the morning watching the deer stroll by is one of the many highlights of the weekend. If you get the chance to rent from Mike and Kathleen do it! Such a great gem in the ADKs.

A Lovely and comfortable place.

You walk in the door and smell the (pine walls) woods. Lovely and comfortable place. Worked just great for our autumn week getaway!

We had a delightful time, beautiful lodge

Deer Watch Lodge epitomizes what I love about Inlet. The ringing of church bells, walking into town, sitting at Arrowhead Park and watching the seaplanes and boats come and go. The lodge is beautifully decorated in ADK decor. We were greeted by a family of deer almost every day and the hummingbirds kept us entertained with their aerobatic flight. It was just a delightful time!
