On behalf of my group and 30 guests The lakeview estate was truly an amazing experience. I believe the photos need to be upgraded because they don’t do justice and could be easily overlooked as a great vacation spot by those searching for one. The group of 30 and I at lakeview enjoyed every aspect; the historic value, the 3 kitchens, many bedrooms, and plenty of space for nobody to be overcrowded. the place was clean and had all equipment necessary to use for the weekend. The grill, hot tub, & outdoor space were my groups favorite part. We did NOT run out of hot water which is something I worried about due to the large group, The lake was absolutely stunning and a special addition to the weekend, and we truly look forward to going back to visit and perhaps even an upgrade to the other two estates on another special weekend thanks to Kristen and Gale. It’s not often that you create a special bond with the host of your Airbnb, so we were thankful for that.
Guests should be aware that the host takes a visit during your stay, if this is not something you are interested in, it is important to know about. Some house features were out of commission; the stereo system which we were looking forward to using, & the electric dart game. The plumbing system is ultra sensitive and tough to adhere to with big groups given it is working an older septic system, so be mindful of this. BUT the group should know how helpful, sensitive, and responsive the hosts are. They would come at anytime and at any need. So be sure to notify them as soon as you notice something isn’t up to par.

We've been coming to LakeView for the past couple years and we've really fallen in love with it. Fantastic hosts, beautiful accommodations, and a lovely location.

We had a great weekend at LakeView Estate. There were 4 families in total and we were welcomed by a very kind couple who manages the property. They explained everything about the property in detail. We had a great time even though we were rained in on Saturday. Thankfully the house was big enough that the kids were able to have a Nerf war inside the house during the daytime. We gave the kids the upstairs portion of the house which had bunk bed bedrooms and it's own kitchen. We were also able to enjoy the fire pit behind the house on both evenings. Being from NYC it was a great chance to look up and look at the stars and just get away from the crazy pace of everyday life. A great time was had by all and we hope to return there next year.

This was the second time my extended family and I stayed at LakeView, and the trip couldn't have gone better. The house is perfect for a large family gathering with plenty of space for adults and kids alike. The house and grounds are well cared for and the lake is a gem! The addition of a pool this year was icing on the top. Sign me up for next year!

My friends and I had a lovely time staying at the LakeView Estate. We arrived on a snowy spring day, but by the end of the week we were sunning ourselves by the lake and enjoying the fresh air. The house is huge! With two kitchens we enjoyed breakfast upstairs in the sunlight each day, and grilled out on the bbq at night. The kitchens each have lots of cooking utensils and pans. The beds were great and as we were a large group of 19 we enjoyed having our space and 4 bathrooms made showers easy. The wifi gets a bit slow if everyone is on it at once, but is also a nice reminder to slow down and stop checking Facebook. Behind the house, down the hill is a lake with a beaver lodge and dam. I would suggest tip toeing down there at dusk to check them out! Also a 15 min drive away the next town over has tons of antique stores jam packed with great finds! (There is also a laundromat in the town, as the house does not have a washer/dryer) Communication with the property managers, owner, and staff was excellent! They were very accommodating and made sure we had the best stay possible!!! I hope we can stay at one of their other properties in the future!

Perfect house for a big group with kids. Great open spaces for the group to gather, and the upstairs bedrooms were perfect for putting the kids to sleep while the festivities continued. Having an extra kitchen and the big grill were also a big bonus. Gale was incredibly attentive as well. The only snag was that we had some issues streaming movies on the wifi, but it was a minor glitch.

This place is great for a large group get away. Awesome seclusion while not really being that far away from "civilization." It is very comfortable with lots of outdoor options. Highly recommended!
