Description
This 2-bedroom apartment is in the heart of the Village of Hunter. The apartment sleeps 6 (2 full beds & one pullout couch.) The 2nd bedroom is accessed through the 1st bedroom and/or the bathroom.
It is a 10-15 minute walk to the Hunter Mountain Ski Lodge. It is a very short walk (3-5 minutes) to several businesses in the village such as Mama's Pizzeria, Mac Gregor's Pub, Bagels & More, and Peking Garden Chinese Restaurant. We don't have cable TV but access is given to our Netflix account on a smart TV.
The apartment is a very short drive to Tannersville (5 minutes), Kaaterskill Falls (10 minutes) and North-South Lake & Campground (10 minutes). Hunter Mountain (10 minute walk to the lodge) hosts events throughout the year such as Tap Fest, Taste of Country Music Festival, German Alps Festival, and Oktoberfest. And of course this in addition to Ziplining, Skiing, Snowboarding and Snow Tubing at one of the best mountains in the Catskills.

This cozy apartment was very clean, tidy, enough space and perfect for what my family of 5 needed for a few days of skiing. Location to Hunter mountain is so close- just about across the street, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Perfect place to stay at a great value for my family of 5 (teenager, pre-teenager and pre-K-aged kids). Laura was super quick with her replies to all of my emails/messages before and during our stay, and she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was easy and comfortable.

Fantastic location if you are skiing Hunter, plus quick communication, all the basics you need, decent internet and simple check in make this a very easy place to stay.
House itself is a more rustic style. Worth noting the ‘railroad’ layout of bedrooms, but it worked fine for our family of 4.
Would definitely look to book next time we ski Hunter.

Great place for skiing at Hunter. Not quite slope side, but only a two minute drive away. The place itself is clean and has a working kitchen and enough space to fit many people. Overall great experience staying there!

My wife and I stayed for a long weekend of leaf-peeping. Laura and Bill’s place is right across from Hunter mountain, and just a few minutes drive from the town of Tannersville. The apartment is simple but spacious and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but clean and worked quite well for us.

Laura and Bill were really responsive and the space is in an awesome location. I went with 4 people for the weekend and we all had a great time during our stay. Very roomy! If anyone is curious, the beer garden next door was great for dinner as well.
