Home away from home
My family and I just returned from a fantastic weekend at Tanya's home. The house has everything you could need for a weekend away. We had plenty of firewood, comfortable temperture with heat, a well stocked kitchen, throw blankets, games, fast wi-fi and clean towels and bedding. The location was perfect for visiting both Windham and Hunter for their Fall festivities. Tanya quickly responded to all of our inquiries and check-in and out was super simple. The setting was absolutely beautiful and we hope to return again soon!

Wonderful home- highly reccomend!
We just got back from Tanya’s cottage in the Catskills and couldn’t be happier. We have never rented a house before, but due to COVId
And not wanting to be in a hotel this summer we wanted our own private house. The house was very clean, quiet, beautiful backyard that is well kept, fully stocked, and fast internet, which is a must when working from home. House is also close to many attractions and Tanya was warm and extremely helpful in answering all of our questions. Completely recommend house for families!

Beautiful cozy house
We spent two nights at this cozy house. We were a group of 6 and felt absolutely comfortable there. The kitchen amenities are new and clean. The front deck is very convenient for group dining. The location is perfect. It is just minutes away from Hunter Mt. and many restaurants around that area. The house has big back and front yards. The house is located in a quiet place so nothing interrupted our sleep. The beds were quite comfortable. I would definitely recommend this house to my friends. I am looking to come back here again next summer.

perfect place for a week away
I loved staying at Tanya's house. It was perfectly located, quiet, comfortable. It also had cell service which is no small thing in the catskills! Tanya was great to communicate with and addressed any questions we had quickly. And for the price, I couldn't possibly ask for a better deal.
It had a beautiful garden and an amazing field to watch stars right next store. I was initially concerned about not having AC, but it ended up being totally unnecessary, even during a hot day. Because of the elevation and location nights were super cool and comfortable. I will definitely be staying again.
Oh also, a very functional kitchen that was very well equipped.

Home sweet home.....
We have spent an amazing week in the cottage. It is very clean and fully furnished. Tanya, the owner, did not miss any detail and made this place feel just like home. Tanya was very helpful, providing us with plenty of informations on the the many activities around the property. It is functional, close to any location we wanted to reach ( biking trails are amazing here!). We cooked almost every night and then stayed cozy on the couch playing games or watching TV...simply home! If you want to eat out, the cottage is few minutes away from both Windham and Hunter, very convenient. Internet connection is high speed and we were also able to work few hours ( this is not a small detail!).
Also, as child I have spent all my summer vacation on the Alps in France and Italy. This was my first time upstate NY over the summer...I was so pleased to be able to smell the same odors and colors of my childhood here. We saw many deers and chip-monks, beautiful! What struck me the most was the sky at night.....I almost forgot how beautiful it is.....so many shooting stars! Were could also spot the Milky Way as a river of lights crossing the sky.......my daughter was amazed!
We will certainly come back....we now have a special place where to breath and get recharged.
