Nestled on three acres of land with a panoramic view of the Catskill Mountain the Mountain Treasure Two-Bedroom Cottage is the ideal place to take in Mother Nature. A beautiful stream and open space make this setting a truly magnificent place.
This 2 level fully furnished cottage features a kitchen, an open living space, with a seating area and a wood-stove, great entertaining space, 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. Bedrooms are located on the upper level, with a cathedral ceiling with skylight. The master bedroom features two Queen Beds, the second bedroom features one Queen Bed.
Also, there is a Twin Bed and a Queen Sofa Bed in the living space on the main level. High-speed internet wireless throughout the house; flat-screen TV; cable. Large deck around the upper level of the house. The entire house (1250 sqf.) is yours. You have your own driveway and your own parking space. We do not live in the same house.
This Cottage is located in the town of Windham, NY just 2.5 hours from New York City and 1 hour from Albany. Conveniently located between two ski resorts; only seven minutes away from Windham Mountain Ski Resort and only six miles away from Hunter Mountain Ski Resort and New York ZipLine; This Cottage offers fantastic location to major attractions in the area.
We do not take the security deposit but valid credit cards of all our guests must be presented in the time of booking as a security in the event of any damage. We provide towels, linens, toiletries, fully equipped kitchen, and wood for the woodstove. I would recommend doing any shopping in your place as there are only convenience stores up here (the closest is 3 minutes away on our road). A good supermarket is about 20 minutes away (Hannaford in Cairo,NY).
We have about 20 restaurants in the Windham area, the closest is about 1 mile away (Vesuvius). Discounted Ski Tickets to WIndham Ski Resort available for our guests on check-in till 9.30pm. Please bring sleepers for your comfort ( carpets at the house).

For Late Arrivals (9:30 PM or later) please call us to arrange all details (direction to your house, key, etc.)
Check-out time till 11 a.m.
Upon request, an early check-in of 9 a.m. may be arranged based on availability. An additional fee of half the nightly rate will apply to receive an early check-in to guarantee availability.
Upon request, a late check-out of 3 p.m. may be arranged based on availability.
An additional fee of half the nightly rate will apply to receive a late check-out to guarantee availability.
Any late check-out without earlier request (our permission or knowledge) will be charged $30/h up to 2h. If the guest will still occupy the house the half the nightly rate will apply up to 4 h.
In case if we won't be able to make the house ready for other guests, the guest will be held financially responsible for additional night or the loss of income for the next booked reservation.
No smoking allowed in rooms or indoors. Please Note: a $250 cleaning fee per day will be charged for violations.
A small pet allowed ONLY after approval, we have to follow our insurance company restrictions. There is a pet fee of $75/pet/stay payable on check-in.
Max. occupancy- 6 people. No surprises, please! This includes children or pets.
Leave the cottage and property as you found it.

Hi I love the area of Hunter and Windham, NY.I moved here in 2012. I love the beauty of nature and being outdoors, love skiing and hiking and hope you do too :-)

Very cozy, very clean. Everything works. It was perfect.
Agnes was the perfect host. Everything was ready, it was middle of winter and she lit the fireplace for us.

The house is perfect! Very cozy and spot clean.
Incredible experience!! The host Agnes and her husband are very warm people. They took care of all our little needs. The house is perfect! Very cozy and spot clean. A quite place surrounded by lush green, mountains and the creek. Beautiful drive from this house to Kaaterskill Falls. A must experience!!

Great place
Once in the mountains, T-Mobile loses signal- it's a good idea to save an offline map for directions. Agnes has laid out a makeshift driveway (red metal post reflective driveway marker) for the cottage parking so that was helpful!

We look forward to going back again.
It is a charming cottage by the stream. We really enjoyed our stay. The stream was beautiful and made our stay memorable . The cottage was cosy and just enough for our family of five.
The patio behind the house has the potential to be beautiful.
The upper deck needs some chairs to be put out to make it more enjoyable . The Mountain View is picturesque. Guests will be better off if they carry their own stock. There was no sugar. We had to go to the nearby grocery store. The kitchen too needs a brush up on the pots, pans and glassware. There were no whiskey glases.
The lower floor was a bit damp and we had to empty the water of the humidifier every two hours. It is not exactly a secluded stay as The bed and breakfast and the owner is also at the premises.
However , the beautiful cascading little waterfall and the stream and the Adirondack chairs laid out by the stream made up for every thing. It is the show stealer.
A beautiful property with a whole lot of potential!!

Worth the price, and would stay again.
The house was as advertised. Fireplace was a great touch on a cold winter day. Perfect for a ski trip. Only met Agnes for a bit while checking in/out, but she was friendly and welcoming. Worth the price, and would stay again.

Large house, can definitely accommodate a big group
Large house, can definitely accommodate a big group. The wood stove is great for cold winter days. The house is very close to Windham and Hunter so great location for those skiing or snowboarding. The house had all the kitchen supplies we needed and there are a lot of features that we wish we could have used were it not for the cold weather.

Very cozy cabin feel with everything you’ll need!
Very cozy cabin feel with everything you’ll need! Very spacious and easily accommodated our group. There’s a gas station/convenience store 5 mins away and a bigger grocery store just 15 mins away. Perfect spot for a skiing/snowboarding trip with Hunter Mountain 15 mins away. Great location for a nice getaway to disconnect and spend time with friends and family! Thanks Agnes!
