Great location, plenty of sunlight, breezes and close to the beach. Shared parking was an issue, that should have been mentioned in the property profile. But otherwise, a great place to stay!

This place is great. Check in process very easy. Quiet beach down the street, and easy distance from wineries, breweries, farm stands and shopping.

Clean cottage near a quiet beach, playground and restaurant within walking distance. About 15+ minute walk from the jitney but could easily Uber around to wineries and restaurants. Seemed a bit over priced given the age of the accomodations but nice to have two separate rooms. Friendly owner but asked for cash deposit that is not mentioned until booked.

Wonderful property! Easy access to activities and sights of the Hamptons. Perfect spot to relax or explore Jamesport or the North Fork wineries and food markets.

This was just what my wife and I were looking for; a clean, cozy and comfortable house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. The house is a short walk to a nice private beach on Peconic Bay, and is stocked with all the necessities needed. Jamesport was a perfect jumping off point for our travels along the North Fork, with easy access to shops, restaurants, the many vineyards in the area and to Riverhead. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed sleeping in the upstairs loft with the windows open; enjoying the cool winds blowing in off the bay, something we cant do back in Florida! Barbara and Sean were the perfect hosts and made the rental experience seamless and easy (and thanks again Barbara for the 2 nights in the other home!). We would definitely not hesitate to book this home again! Our only complaint?....we wish we had an extra week to stay here!! Thanks again for making our vacation a great experience!...Tom and Cathie

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and perfect for our first visit to the North Fork. The house had all the amenities we needed to feel right at home. A plus was being able to walk down the street to the bay! Barbara was very pleasant to deal with. I'd recommend this place, it's sleeps 4 comfortably. The sofa sleeper works for another person, but not as comfortable as a bed.

Nicely appointed comfortable cottage just a few houses from a beautiful bay beach. Beds are comfy, there's AC for hot days and lots of windows to open when not hot. The bedroom upstairs is especially nice with great cross breezes and a pretty view of the sky — has two single beds. Grounds are very pretty and the owners are really nice. Great touch is a full size washer and dryer in the bathroom which is useful for beach towels, etc. We'd always stayed further out on the North Fork and this location is closer in and also very nice with lots of great wineries, farm stands and beautiful scenery. Jedediah Hawkins Inn is right down the street and is a pretty place to have dinner or a drink. Although we didn't do this, another great thing about this location is that the ocean around Hampton Bays is just a 25 minute drive.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house a few minutes walk from the beach. The house itself was cozy and well maintained with a nice little deck for kicking back and grilling food. Barbara and Sean were both courteous and really easy to deal with. Barbara even brought us a slice of pie from a local bakery that was delicious! This made it feel as if it was truly our home as well. The only drawback I would say is that the sofa bed has seen better days but it is manageable for shorter trips. Other than that, this place was a godsend. Thanks again for wonderful the hospitality and we hope to visit again!

A wonderful time was had with my family while we stayed at Barbara and Sean's Cottage. The home was equipped with everything, a beautiful walk around the corner to the beach and a peaceful time at the home. Thank you Sean for all !!! We will definitely see you next year!!!
