Description
The PebbleFisher is ideal for families, friends, romance, passionate fishermen, bird lovers, many sports & cultural activities. You will love the lake view from balcony, living room or while dining.
You can fish, swim, and kayak right from the dock*, rent a boat, observe and listen to many diverse birds that are playing on our dock and in the lake. The location is ideal for ice-fishing and snowmobiling as well. Peak n Peak is only 40min away to enjoy skiing.
The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped, so you can enjoy your stay right away.
Everything is really close: marina, bike and boat rentals, putt-putt, golf, park, restaurants, Bemus-point, Chautauqua-Institution, National Comedy Center, local groceries and cheese manufacturer. Numerous art galleries, antique shops, breweries and wineries nearby.
Golf courses are also close by.
There are three parking places that are shared with the other cottage. The two on the right are reserved for you. 1 additional car can park at Webb’s across the street on one of the very left parking places. Please put the parking card stating your cottage behind your windshield. It is in the welcome guide folder. Your trailer can be stored for free at the public boat launch. However, the trailer must always be attached to a car. You can park your trailer at Chautauqua Marina for $10 per night. Please let Lou or his team know that you are staying at Jim Kelleher’s cottage.
You can have great motorcycle or bike rides from the cottage in the summer to explore the area, and in the winter you can snowmobile right from the cottage to the trails and have fun.
We fully remodeled this cottage and transformed it into a lake house beauty, with loads of love and unique details.
* the dock is in the water from April/May till early November

The bathroom offers a shower, toilet, washing sink, a mirror, storage for your bath utensils, towels, hairdryer, hand soap, shower and bath gel.
2 parking places are reserved for you at the right of the driveway. Additional parking is available at Webb's (nightly fee). A trailer can be stored at CHQ marina for $10 per night for guests of J. Kelleher.

Chautauqua Marina offers trailer spaces for $10 if you let them know that you are staying at Jim Kelleher's cottage.
Cancellations 7-13 will be charged with 50% of the rental fee and 1-6 days before arrival will be charged 100% of the rental fee.
You will walk down stairs to be on the lawn or go on the dock.
About the Owner
Jim has been living in the Buffalo area nearly all his lifetime. Now we do live in Hamburg, NY. As world-travellerw we always love to come back to enjoy our four seasons. As everybody else - we like to spent quality time after hard working days and weekends. Our passions are woodworking, cooking, sewing, being creative in many ways and enjoying our beautiful nature. We called this lake house- the PebbleFisher- and you will soon find out why...
As a child and teenager, Jim spent many vacations with his family on this lake. They were fishing and swimming and he always dreamt to have his own cottage on this beautiful lake. Ulrike dreamt of a cottage to host and cook for her guests, sew and write books. This dream has become a reality. With this property, we found the perfect location for our family to live in for generations to come. The perfect stay in summer and winter. A place to fish, enjoy sunrises and sundowns as well as cultural activities and hosting friends from around the globe.
What makes this Cottage unique
In 2019, we searched the net for a weekend house. When we saw the breathtaking view from the balcony and the opportunity that is given with our own dock it took only days to make the buying decision. The views are amazing at any daytime and out of the large windows. Relaxing times with a BBQ or at the fire pit are as easy as enjoying time on the lake itself. The PebbleFisher is a modern cottage with a special touch of craftsman ship and stylish rooms. The proximity to restaurants and to many nature attractions are just awesome, because we like to walk or bicycle.

Great Getaway Spot
We really enjoyed our stay. The host was accommodating and staged the house nicely prior to our arrival. The house was close to things to do and easily accessible from the water too. We had plans to explore the Chautauqua area, but found the house to be so nice that we spent most of our time there instead.

We loved this modern and comfortable lake cottage! Everything you could need is right there. High quality kitchen, dining and grilling items fully stocked. Beautiful location, comfortable beds and very responsive owners!

Lovely
You know how some people are just really good at what they do? That's how it is with Jim and Ulrike. This house is immaculate. I'm someone who can be picky about cleanliness and it's almost unbelievable how clean this place is! And so beautifully appointed with such a gorgeous, unimpeded view of the lake. And you don't want for anything-- they have you covered for any wants or needs in the house. It's just amazing. I hate when I have to leave but when I do I'm planning when I can get back there!

Perfect
We stayed here over Christmas. It started snowing Christmas Eve and didn’t stop until late on the 26th. We didn’t care because we were snug and cozy in this lovely cottage. We sat by the gas fireplace and looked out at the snow falling on the geese and ducks on the lake. The owners think of everything. They provide such hospitality! They even left Christmas cookies for us. I’ve stayed many places and can say that this cottage has the best equipped kitchen. The only negative is that living room has the large dining table and couch in it leaving no room for additional Comfortable TV seating: it’s the couch or dininig chairs. We aren’ TV junkies- It WAS winter after all- if you go any other time you may have no interest in TV.

Perfect 1st trip to the lake!

Everything went accordingly. No problems at all. Property owners are really nice people. They take pride in their place and were genuinely concerned with our satisfaction. I highly recommend this place as it was a no hassle no drama experience from beginning to end.

Pebble Fisher Weekend
Where to begin? My friends and I stayed in the Pebble Fisher for a long girls weekend, we had a blast! We walked to the restaurants Lakeview Inn, sat on the dock every morning, watched the beautiful sunrise and had an overall amazing much needed get away, and the view was so gorgeous. I definitely recommend to anyone !
