Enjoy our private Peace of the Lake! We love to share our newly renovated 4 bedroom, 3 full bath home perfectly suited for a restful lakeside retreat overlooking Canandaigua Lake. Spacious sleeping arrangements in 4 bedrooms - 2 queens (one a master ensuite), 1 double and 1 room with 2 twins. Walk to the lake and enjoy lake sunsets from the patio and deck! Near hiking, restaurants, Wegmans, CMAC performing arts center, wineries/breweries and all the Finger Lakes has to offer.
Walk right down the hill to our private lake access for sunning and swimming off the dock. (only available to residents of our small association). Close to public beach and marina too.
Double decks to watch sunsets and eat/drink al fresco ; game room with foosball, games, puzzles and large TV; laundry room. Brand new infrared 2-person sauna on premises -- a great way to relax! Second TV and living area upstairs in the dining room/kitchen.
Fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, cookware, espresso maker, blender, mixer, and pantry staples (spices, oils, etc.). Gas grill, 2 bikes with helmets, beach chairs and towels provided.
All you need for a great get-away in any season with family or friends. Truly a chance to enjoy our little "Peace of the lake!".

Policies
Beach towels are provided for the Sauna and Lake use. Please don't use bath towels for that purpose. Outdoor non-breakable dinner and drinkware is also provided for use on the deck. Use Sauna at your own risk. Rules for Sauna use are also provided in the rental agreement.
• 50% of rental fee to secure the reservation.
• Security Deposit $400.00.
• Housekeeping fee $170.00. This is to prepare the house for next renter; linens and towels are provided; no daily housekeeping service.
• Note: payments can be made in the form of cash, check or Venmo.
CANCELLATIONS made 30 days prior to your arrival date incur a cancellation fee of $50. Cancellations made 14-29 days before your arrival date forfeit the 50% deposit. If a reservation is canceled less than 14 days before your scheduled arrival, you are responsible for the entire rental rate. Cancellations must be received in writing.
About the Owner
Peace of the Lake is our own lakeside retreat, and we are happy to share this with others who feel the stress melt away when they are within sight of a beautiful body of water! Rich and Laurie have lived in the area for almost 35 years, raised our kids here, and love sharing what the Finger Lakes offers to our guests! Awesome week
Stepped into a dream house on the Finger Lakes. Fully equipped if you want to stay in but so much to do in the area. Enjoyed the deck overlooking the lake. The name of Peace says it all.

Perfect family lake house!
This house was perfect with enough space for more than one family! Having the upstairs and downstairs was so nice to spread out! Everything you needed in the kitchen and bathrooms! Super clean and beautiful home with amazing views! The lake was a short walk but the private area was great! Easy to work with host for all of our needs! Thank you for opening your home to us!

Highlight of Summer 2023
A wonderful stay overall, 11/10! A group of seven of us stayed in August and it was the much needed getaway for all of us. When the weather was cooperative, the dock/lake access was wonderful and when it rained, there was plenty of space and activities to continue enjoying our time inside. Balcony views are unrivaled.
Home was very well stocked and the hosts were very attentive when a small problem arose. Looking forward to coming back soon, hopefully!

Relaxing Time at Peace of the Lake
The house is beautiful decorated, clean, comfortable, spacious, and well stocked/organized. We enjoyed walking down to the lake access, where we taught one granddaughter how to cast a fishing line while our youngest enjoyed the water. The foosball table was lots of fun and sitting on the upper deck to watch the sunsets was just spectacular. Laurie is a great hostess and easy to work with. It was a perfect place for a family get together and we hope to get back soon. I definitely recommend this property and will be sharing with our friends and family.

Great Place
We had a great time at Laurie's place. A very nice house, very clean, well organized, and spacious enough for our large group. Close proximity to the lake, marina, and town, and beautiful view from the deck. Would definitely recommend!

What a wonderful mini-vacation. Well thought out and well stocked kitchen. Convenient second floor deck with beautiful lake views and spectacular sunsets. Many nearby hiking trails and comfy beds at the end of the day…perfect.

Amazing getaway weekend for my wife’s birthday
We had an amazing getaway weekend at this beautiful property on the lake. The house was so spacious and nice and our entire party felt so welcomed by the lovely welcome package left by the owners. The home is beautifully seated on the hill with an amazing view of the lake and beautiful sunset views. Lake access was convenient and a really fun way to spend several afternoons. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning here next year.
