Robert Napier purchased this House in 2001
Why Robert chose Honeoye?
Wanted lakefront and fell in love with spacious private property. Surrounded by nature, a wonderful getaway.. It's a fabulous custom built house, not a cottage. Great location and love the lake life, fishing and boating.
What makes this House unique?
nice flat yard, easy access to lake, private drive, secluded area; love the lot with waterfront and lagoon on side with variety of wildlife. Often see blue heron, turtles, variety of birds, rabbits, deer, etc.
We offer one of the few properties that is waterfront, big enough for multiple families, allows pets, has a hot tub and all the amenities.
Had a wonderful week.

Overall the house and property are great! Being right on the lake was very convenient and the property is flat, which is a plus. (no hills to climb) We brought our boat and enjoyed a great week of fishing and water sports on the lake. The only improvements that I would suggest are to have TV's (with cable) in all of the bedrooms and to upgrade the dock. The dock, as is, was maxed out (structurally) on a windy day while we had our boat moored to it. An elevator similar to many of the other docks on the lake would be perfect those bringing a boat. Overall, our family had a wonderful time. Additionally, the owner and property manager are super-friendly and handle any problems immediately!

Large home, lots of privacy, right on the lake! A perfect choice for our family get-away. We had 2 small boys with us so the large yard was perfect for them to play in. The large trees offer a nice barrier from the cottage next door. The house is large and the layout worked great for us. The kitchen is stocked with most everything needed to prepare meals. The 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths worked out perfectly for our family. Camille was great to work with. Very responsive and friendly! Thanks for a great week on the lake.

This open concept cottage has huge windows over looking a beautiful lake. We enjoyed using the hotub while taking in the view. There was plenty of room for our two families with small children. There is grass space and a nice fire pit by the water. It is in a peaceful cottage area where you can watch fisherman float by from the deck. We enjoyed the relaxed cottage atmosphere and many things to do in the area, including 40 minutes to the Strong National Museum of Play as well as close by craft brewery. We enjoyed the sale of buy two nights get one free while there in May.

"Melody Woods is a beautiful, spacious, private home on the lake. We enjoyed a perfect winter getaway with our young adult children. There is plenty of space so everyone could do their own thing or we could play some pool, cozy around a fireplace, take in the hot tub, several dining options, table for two, full dining room and a kitchen nook. The kitchen was just a spacious with lots of storage & work space with a large variety of appliances, bakeware, pots, pans, crockpot, choppers and utensils as well as cooking on the grill. Camille was wonderful from start to finish in assisting with reservations, accommodations and recommendations. She responded promptly to our inquiries and requests, was available during the stay if needed and made sure we had a wonderful stay. It was a pleasure meeting her at our check out and we look forward to returning soon. Also convenient location, grocery store, gas station and restaurants are not too far away. We will return soon!"

My family really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is big enough for several people to cook in, the layout is an open floor plan with excellent social space and the location is nicely secluded for privacy.
Our arrival was easy and the home was completely ready for us.
The bedrooms were comfortable and the walls afforded plenty of privacy for light sleepers.
The management company was very easy to deal with and checked in to make sure we he home was perfect for us.
We brought along kids and pets and it was a great retreat for the whole family to gather in for a week long reunion.
