Spring has sprung!
Get away from it all! You will feel far away from the rest of the world on this very private lake front home.
There are a lot of great Spring and Fall weekends available.
Spring and Fall 2024; Special; Rent two connective nights, get the thirds consecutive night at half price. Rent three consecutive nights at the regular rate, get two more consecutive nights for free.
Summer weeks are Sunday to Sunday.
There is only one 2024 summer week remaining; Aug. 18 - Aug. 25, 2024 ($4.495.00).

Also known as "Tranquility on the Bluff". The home received its' name, because it is located in an area of Yates County, known as Bluff Point. Bluff Point is the peninsula what separates the East and West branches of Keuka Lake. Long ago the shores of Bluff Point were surrounded with vineyards and dotted with steamboat landings to ferry people and agricultural products to Branchport, Hammondsport and Penn Yan on Keuka Lake. Over time the vineyards were abandoned and were gradually replaced with campsites, seasonal cottages and year round homes.
The home was built in 1996 and has approximately 2000 square feet of living space, including four bedrooms and three full baths, living room, dining area, and kitchen area, recreation room, and a large partially-covered deck. The home also faces west, to enjoy the fabulous sunsets. The home is located near southern end of the peninsula that separates the East and West branches of Keuka Lake.
On the main floor, the living room, dining area, kitchen, are part of an open floor plan that include a cathedral ceiling and skylights. In additionally on the main(Listing #82) floor there are three bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has a queen-size bed and overlooks Keuka Lake. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and overlooks Keuka Lake. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed and is on the back side of the home and has its own private full bathroom with a shower. Off the main hall is a full bathroom with a tub/shower. Off the dining area is a fabulous, partially-covered deck. . The lower level has a bedroom, recreation/game room, full bathroom with a shower and utility room with two washers and two dryers. The bedroom has a king-size bed, and a sliding glass door that faces the Keuka Lake. The recreation/game room is equipped with two day beds with trundles. In addition, the recreation/game room has two large windows facing Keuka Lake.
The deck is furnished with two, five foot by five foot square glass top tables and chairs, small sofa style love set and two matching chairs and foot rests. The jetted hot tub/spa is also on the deck. The deck is surrounded by a fenced in railing with latch-able gates. The deck faces the lake and is fantastic for dining, relaxing, and enjoying the breath-taking Keuka Lake sunsets The home and yard is surrounded on three sides by woods.
There is large off-street, driveway parking area for at least six vehicles. There is also trailer parking on the lawn next to the driveway. The parking area is at the end of a long semi-private driveway and within 10 feet of the home. Also, on the lawn there is a fire ring, surrounded by benches. This is a fantastic place to spend a romantic evening or gather with your family and roast marshmallows under the stars. Fire wood is provided.
Access to the lake is located in front of the home via a sloping path and at the shoreline a set of 17 steps build into the bank. The beach area has chairs, a forty plus foot dock, swim raft and mooring buoy. From the shoreline the water has a very gradual increase in depth as one walks into the lake. The lake bottom is hard and consists of shale, stones and rocks of various sizes. Water shoes, sneakers or other foot protection are recommended, due to the shale and zebra mussels.
The home is surrounded on three sides by woods as a result.
Bed summary: One King, Three Queens, and Two Day Bed with Trundles (Four Single Beds). The home includes; pillows, comforters and blankets.
The home does not include bed linens or towels. Guests are welcome to bring their own bed linens and towels. There is a linen rental package available. The package includes bed linens, towels, and face cloth.; Peak Summer Season for $120.00. Preseason, or Post Season for $10.00 Per Person.
There is a 4% Yates County Lodging Tax on the rental fee and house cleaning fee of $150.00, and a refundable security deposit of $250.00.

Great Place!
This was our third time visiting the Finger Lakes and each time we rent a house. Eight of us stayed at this home and were all very comfortable. Bill is wonderful to work with. He has everything in the home you can possibly need. Paper towels, toilet paper, tissues were all provided. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were all very comfortable and everything was very clean. The deck was a great place to relax with a glass of wine and see the evening sunset. The view of the lake was spectacular. We took advantage of the fire pit (wood was provided) for two nights. Whenever I contacted Bill he was quick to respond. The only downside was the water. We needed to go out and get drinking water but all the good things about the home far outweigh this one issue. All of us agree we would definitely come back here. Yes, it is "off the beaten path" but for what you get and the price you can't go wrong. Thank you Bill for renting to us. It was an enjoyable time.

Excellent place for an off season reunion
We had here a 40-year reunion of a discussion group, a mixed group of 9 people in their seventies or late sixties. Five years ago we had the neighboring property "Serenity on The Bluff" by the same owner when 13 people came to our reunion. Both places are beautiful and very comfortable with everything there that we might possibly need. Also very accessible for older folks. We plan to be back in 5 years.

Another GREAT vacation on Keuka Lake
We have just thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful time at Tranquility on the Bluff. Thank you, Bill, for providing such a restful house with all the amenities we could want. The privacy, views of the lake, hot tub, and spacious lake house were just a few things that make this a special place. Can't wait for next year!

Great Property, Extremely Pleased
Bill, the owner, provides all the extras that we usually have to bring with us. Plenty of kitchen amenities such as paper towels, dishwasher detergent, liquid detergent,coffee filters, 2 coffee pots, tons of dishes, cutlery, pots and pans,even muffin tins. There are 2 HC washers and 2 HC dryers and laundry detergent is provided. We brought our own linens,but u can rent if you want. Initially a little hard to find but once you are there the awesome view, the privacy of the property, the large hot tub with a view of the night sky were terrific. The west bluff of Keuka Lake is awesome. Sunsets fantastic. Very private, homes not on top of each other. Yes, you have to walk down a hill to get to the lake but it wasn't that difficult. We have been coming to the Finger Lakes for 18 years and this is one of the best properties we have stayed at. We have already booked again for next year.

Great house for a ladies weekend!
This was our third trip to West Bluff on Keuka Lake, our 2nd time to rent Tranquility. It is an awesome place, a well equipped kitchen with plenty of room for 12 people. The view of the lake is a west view, so you get great sunsets. It is "off the beaten path"-very secluded and quiet. If you like to stay in and cook a few meals to save money on eating out, this is the place for you. Everything was clean and ready for us! We are booking for next year!

The perfect location to experience the Finger Lakes region
Tranquility on the Bluff is an amazing property. We were pleasantly surprised to find the interior to be more spacious than viewed on the website photos. Everything was very clean and upgraded, very well stocked, and very comfortable throughout. The owner truly thought of everything. The view of the lake is amazing. The private dock is tranquil and kayaking is a must. The hot tub was an extra perk. We can't wait to return to this house which has won a special place in our hearts.

college friend reunion
A group of 7 of us rented this cottage over Columbus Day weekend and found it very charming. The house was very clean and roomy. We enjoyed the deck both for morning coffee and tea as well as evening wine. The hot tub was fabulous!! The house had everything we needed. We have rented houses many times for our reunions but I have to say that this house had everything and more!! There was plenty of parking. the only thing I would say is to not follow GPS to get to the house!! GPS takes you down a very steep, rut filled road that parallels the lake and tells you have reached your destination....the house was above but not visible from the car nor was there any parking there! Luckily I kept going and finally found the house by looking for the house number posted on the West Bluff Drive Road. And luckily we arrived in the day time!! I would highly recommend this cottage!!
