This is a newly listed and recently renovated private cottage on 13 mostly wooded acres, and part of our wine country cottage collection at The Savannah House Wine Country Inn & Cottages (see below for links to our other listings to get a sense of our high quality and amazing locations).
The Sunflower cottage is centrally located to wineries, Keuka and Seneca lakes, and other attractions. Tons of sunlight thru the many windows and glass doors. All new beds, furniture, hot tub, and large smart TV with Wi-Fi.
Breathtaking setting. Open floor plan with 3 nice sized bedrooms with queen beds, and 2 full modern bathrooms with showers. 3 electric fireplaces. Huge wrap around deck with awesome views. Partial lake view. 7 minutes from the marina, beach access, and the nearest town with all kinds of stores, shops, restaurants, and gas stations - plus a movie theater.
In one of the most desirable locations in the Finger Lakes In cottage massages, private wine tours, kayak, and canoe rentals, motorboats, horseback riding, bike rentals, yoga are all available for the asking, and at various costs. Just what the doctor ordered!
This cozy cottage was the perfect location for a weekend getaway. Our communication with the owner was smooth and easy. The instructions provided in advance of our visit were clear and helpful. And the hot tub was a huge bonus!

Perfect New Year 2021
When we arrived to Sunset property we were welcomed with all the lights on for us and music playing. Each room was beautifully decorated and had a country feel! It was cozy and warm and very very clean! The hot tub was such a bonus for a relaxing vacation! I highly recommend this property for a couples getaway! My 2 shepherds loved it as well!

Clean and private but some issues
All in all we enjoyed our stay. The property itself is very nice, the hot tub works and the house is warm (we were there in the winter for Christmas). It's cozy and clean. The natural light is very nice in the house too. A few things to note: The internet does not work properly which made working remotely very difficult. We ended up needing to use our phones as hot spots which uses data and is expensive. The first day/night we were there the TV didn't work (internet issues) because it was raining and we were told by the property manager that it has issues when it rains and that we should try and scrape ice off of the satellite dish, but we were unable to find the brush that they mentioned to do this with. Something else to note is that the water is sulfur water and smells like eggs (we were not warned of this, I recommend bringing your own drinking water). The hot tub is nice but had very small and hard particles floating in the water and stuck to the seats which messed up my wife's bathing suit. We felt that for the price and for the cleaning fee that it was odd that we were asked to bring our own trash bags and paper towels. Also, my mother last minute decided to join us for Christmas and we forgot to let the owners know so we were charged $135. So make sure to let them know or that could happen to you! Im sure in the warmer months the location has some nice qualities being close to the lake and wineries but we were there to have some quiet family time which we did have.

Friends getaway
This amazing cottage was everything we needed. So cozy we didn't leave to do the things we planned. TRULY an escape from the nose in the world today!

Cozy Cottage
Super cute cottage. Very clean and great location. The cottage easily accommodated 5 adults and 1 child. Sulfur water was a little off putting but easily remedied with a few gallons of bottled water for cooking and drinking. We would visit this cottage again.

Family get together weekend
Really nice home. Clean. Spacious. Very cozy. Early Fall visit. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. Quiet evening. Close to many wineries, both Keuka and Seneca lake, and the Windmill farm and craft market.
