Description
Cottage is located well off the road with large back yard and parking space. This road is often used by walkers and bikers. This cozy post & beam cottage is nestled directly on the shore of Keuka Lake with landscaped stairs to the back door. Two bedrooms with queen size beds, one upper with which opens to deck and one below which opens to covered Stone Patio overlooking the water. Dock, gradual walk in beach, 80 feet of water frontage. Gazebo with fire pit on north side of cottage.
Rental includes use of rowboat, canoe,single or double kayaks. standup paddle boards or you can bring your own boat [mooring whips provided]. Full galley kitchen, dining table indoors and outside kitchen sliding door is a tavern table on upper deck with a panoramic view of the lake. Bathroom with shower. This is a year round residence with AC and overhead fans for cooling. TV with cable is located in the living room. Wireless internet, dishwasher, gas grill. We supply bedding but you need to supply queen size sheets and your towels. No pets are allowed.

cottage. We are 4 miles from Keuka Lake State Park where there are trails to hike.

Policies
We are on the property to greet you, with keys and freshly cleaned cottage.
We accept a check or cash for the balance of weekly rent on your arrival.
Date will confirmed on the calendar NYVRBO site.
Our completed contract is a simple one: information includes a list of 4 cottage occupants and 2 guests [limit of 6 persons at cottage], terms, no pets, leaving cottage in the same condition as you found it. The amount due and balance which does have a Yates County Bed Tax of 4% added will be your receipt. You will need to bring your own Queen size sheet set for each of 2 beds and towels.
Once you have signed our contract and deposit is made, we do not return the deposit unless we are able to re-rent the cottage.
There are landscaped steps to the back door, and spiral staircase from upper to lower bedroom. There are two sets of stairs to the beach - one on each side of the cottage. One is off the main deck and the other is off the landscaped north side by the gazebo and fire pit.
For outdoor dining, there is a picnic table with bench seats by the screened gazebo area. The tavern height table with 4 pub chairs is on the deck outside the kitchen area.
There are a variety of outdoor seating spaces including AD Pub height chairs on the dock, decks, hammock is available for the lower deck, lounges & chairs in the screened gazebo and portable lounges for the grassy yard by lake. Lounges can be moved on wheels to shade or sun.
About the Owner
We want to talk with potential renters and only accept checks or cash payments.
We have rented our cottage for many years and have many returning renters who have become our friends. We live next door. This cottage is also our boathouse but completely separate living space with privacy by landscaped trees and separate dock and beach. We will share the dock occasionally to access our boat in its boat lift. We are careful to not disturb renters and this will not happen often during your stay.
In Mid-May to Mid-June we will consider shorter rental stays. We rent only by the week from the third week of June until Sunday of Labor Day Weekend. This is a year round home.

Loved The Cottage
This was a wonderful place to stay. Very very nice, loved the owners. We went kayaking and canoeing. We would definitely stay there again. Great location.
