About the Owner
About Ken and Ellen Campbell
Ken is a retired high school teacher, now a college instructor and part-time musician, and Ellen is retired from IBM and Microsoft, and is now a successful real estate agent. They have vacationed and then lived in this area since 1985 and love the Finger lakes.
Why Ken and Ellen Campbell chose Town of Torrey
Right on the water with lawns lakeside, beach area, and large lawn area across the road as well. Everything you need is here for a great vacation. Three season porch, huge deck, large dock and beautiful sunrises will leave you counting the days until you return. Very easy access from paved road, and all the amenities you could ask for.

Perfect Getaway
We had a wonderful week staying at this property. The dock was perfect and we enjoyed swimming and admiring the beautiful scenery. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway.

Loved It!
This place was fantastic! Our hosts shared a bunch of information on local
attractions and where to go for groceries, kayaks etc. There was a place
who deliveries the kayaks to your door! And we were right on the water and
went fishing, swimming, kayaking any time we wanted. And we had a great
bonfire one night down by the dock. The deck was spacious and the view was
lovely. The home was well equipped and large enough for our party of 8. The
screened porch overlooking the lake was a great place for gathering all day
and especially in the evening. And there was a free tennis court and
playground right around the corner. Just a lovely lovely vacation spot.

Lakeside memories
We had a wonderful Spring break hiking and playing at the park. We had a great time just being together. My son loved capturing the sun rise over the lake from the 3 season room. The kiddos loved practicing their casting skills knowing all the fish were in the middle of the lake. We enjoyed the fire pit by the lake! Ken was great, meeting us and helping answer our questions and a wonderful welcome package. We all want to return next summer!

Awesome Girls Trip
What an amazing spot for a girls trip! Ken and Ellen were very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. The house was super clean and cute! What an INCREDIBLE view of the lake. We arrived at night and were in awe of the lake when we be woke up. We could not have been happier with this gem!!

Fabulous FLX stay
First time to the Finger Lakes region and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location. The house was comfortable and clean with all anyone would need indoors or out: kitchen staples, linens, Wi-Fi, outdoor dining area, outdoor fridge, grill, hammock, cornhole, fire pit, lake toys, swimming platform, and outstanding lake views.
Ken and Ellen were the perfect hosts- so helpful and friendly. We loved the area, and when we return, we will definitely stay here again!

Relaxing week at the lake with family
Copper Beach was great for a week of relaxing with the family. The house was spacious and the outdoor space was great. The lake front had enough space for our kids to play. There were many thoughtful amenities included. Our kids enjoyed walking to the nearby park and ice cream shop. The location was great for jogging and taking walks.

Perfect spot to getaway and enjoy the lake
We loved our week! Being right on the lake was exact what we wanted, and all the water toys and swim platform that came with the house were added bonuses. The dock was perfect for my husband to fish everyday. We also loved the big picnic table on the deck and the extra fridge out there as well. We also enjoyed the hammock! And we were surprised to see there was a cornhole game to play! We also had a fire two nights. And the screened on porch was perfect when it rained. There really was no reason to leave the property! But we did! We LOVED the gorge at Watkins Glen State Park, renting a pontoon, and shopping at Penn Yan. Lots of ice cream shops and wineries in the area too! The property owner lives next door, but once he shows you around he respects your privacy. Of course, we still loved talking to him and his wife when we would see them out and about! This house really is the perfect vacation spot!

Exceeded our expectations
You will not regret your stay at Copper Beach! We were greeted as we pulled in. Ken took us in a quick tour of the property and amenities (and a wonderful gift tray of goodies). He even offered to help carry in our things. The house main living areas were bigger than we expected. Six adults, a toddler and 3 month old puppy had plenty of room with a crate and play yard.
During our stay, we enjoyed grilling, fishing, lakeside campfires, wineries, walking, puzzles and playing cards … and of course taking in the breathtaking views. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home and hospitality. Copper Beach is a true gem.
